Luxe Nails

After several of my friends bragged about their nails from Luxe and currently being disappointed with my current nail salon, i decided to try them out. I made an appt prior to going in and only waited about 15 minutes before getting in the chair. Lisa was my nail technician. She does really good work. I paid $40 for a full set and 4 designs, which is reasonable. The only thing I would change is i wish she had a price list posted somewhere. Throughout the entire appt, her other nail techs kept interrupting her for pricing. If there was a standard price list to work off of this wouldn't of been an issue. Overall, the experience i had was a good one and decided to make another appt being as though its hard to find decent nail technicians in Philly that know what their doing.

I went to Luxe yesterday (Monday) around 4:30pm and they only had two workers. It was about 7 customers. I had to wait for about an hour and a half. Customers after me had to wait at least 2 hours. Luxe needs to work on their pace and time system. Because I had to wait so long, I was tempted to leave and not go back but it was my first time there so I gave it a chance. Their prices are reasonable. I paid $32 for a refill and 4 designs. It seems high but they did a really nice job on my designs. Overall it was an okay experience the location is bad and they need more workers. The biggest thing that needs changing is their appointment/walk- in system. Because there are only 2-3 workers it is too much an time consuming which will cause customers like me to leave. I waited about an hour then a customer walks in and she gets her nails done before me. There should not be an appointment system. They are far too small and not enough workers.
