Best Pub/Restaurant in Mid Town Village

I stumbled across Finn McCool's, as I work in the area. Great experience! Surprisingly great food and an excellent selection of beers on tap. (including my personal favorite, Magic Hat #9). May I suggest the salmon risotto? Friendly staff, clean, and a great place to watch games. Also offers specials most days, karaoke on Tuesdays, and Rock Band on the big screen on Wednesdays, which are nice twists. Needless to say I go there a lot...for a good reason!

March visit & bartender H

We were pub crawling after the flower show in March 2008. We try to find new bars to experience. We have been to at least 20 already in the area.. We stopped a Finn's and glad we did.. We really liked the variety of beers and the food was excellent.. We talked with the bartender ""H""; we got advice from her as to where to go next, someplace we had not been.. We went to ""Dirty Franks"" where her boyfriend works.. Both places are locations that we will return to... Thank you ""H"" for your time, information and conversation.. Say hi to ""H"" who we met at ""D Fs"" and to ""B"" who treated us great. We really enjoyed both places. The old timer pub crawlers.... Ray and Sandy

Have you been to Finns lately??!!!!!

If not, its a MUST!!!! Finn McCools Ale House has undertaken major renovations and now has its newest addition, Prime Lounge/Restaurant. Split in two levels, you get your regular Irish Bar with a modern twist, and a Lounge/Restaurant were you can have a glass of wine and a fabulous dinner with a date or a night out with the ladies!! And it doesnt end there! If you stay long enough, ad DJ comes on and the place becomes a hot night club!! I didnt know about this the first time, but you can also rent out the VIP room which I did just last weekend, the owner through in a complimentary bottle of champagne...for my BIRTHDAY!!!! Wow!!!! Same owners as you may remember, but the ambiance is absolutely an unforgettable experience!!!! Conveniently located near the Convention Center and the Marriott and the Lowe's Hotel, I recommend this corner bar/lounge to all my out-of-town co-workers, family and friends!!!
Keep up the excellent work!!!

Excellent pub for music, atmosphere, casual drinks, and appetizers

The place was excellent, great selection of beers and cocktails. We got a big selection of appetizers and it was very good. The fried Ravioli was great. The bartender was fast and excellent, and the owner and people in the bar were real friendly. My friends and I stopped in on a Saturday around 3:30pm and had plenty of seating for the 6 of us. We went to Fergie's first and all we got there was a bad attitude from the girl who was sitting people. So we left and went to Finn McCools. A great start for a great weekend!

Finn Mc-who??

I've been coming to Finn's quite regularly for the past few months on saturday nights, and I just can't get sick of the place. Almost everytime I come, I bring someone new, and every single time they leave raving about how much fun it is. Great Dj spinning hot pop and hip-hop tracks, great staff, AWESOME young crowd..... Can't say enough good things about this place
