I went to this store yesterday because it has the Studiorowe and I needed to find a suitable fabric for a Rowe chair that my parents are buying my daughter. I went in and was directed to the fabric swatches. I was then approached by mike (later found that he was the manager). He asked me where the furniture was being purchased and made a snide comment when I was not purchasing there. Then, a woman told my daughter to put the swatch that she was holding back on the rack. Then, when I asked for a piece of paper, I was told that I was not allowed to browse, because I was not going to purchase. I told her that everyone browses, how was I different. I told her that I was highly insulted. I left then called back, mike told me that he was not a ""catalog"" for me and ended with ""You are disgusting"" and hung up on me. I was not rude, I did not ask anyone to wait on me, my children were not running around the store, yet I was told that I essentially had no business in the store unless I was going to spend money. Really? It seems that decisions were made based on the color of my skin rather than any possible sale.

I just received our new dining room table and it looks even better in our house than it did in the store. We went to the store a few weeks ago, walked around with no pressure from any sales people and we found a table we both agreed on. We did leave though because we wanted to look around but we decided on the one we saw at dwelling. We worked with Jackie who was fantastic and friendly to deal with during the process. She said the table was on order and should arrive in 4 to 6 weeks, much to my delight she called a week and a half later saying it should arrive within a week AND IT DID! We settled up payment and scheduled delivery for today. I was a bit nervous because I live on the 3rd floor of my building with no elevator and I have not had one delivery yet that they didn't complain about having to walk up the stairs. Well, I can't say that any more because the delivery guys were fantastic. Jackie told me it was 'White Glove' service and they'll be very clean and helpful and, I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical because I've heard that before...again, I was wrong! These guys were super clean, friendly, and helpful. Overall it was a great experience and when we're in the market for new furniture this will be the first place we go because the furniture selections rock and the experience we had was great.

i ordered a king size bed for more than $2k. the delivery guys broke the headboard on the way into my apartment, and dispatched someone to come fix it and then began setting up the bed, only to find that their warehouse had sent a queen frame. it took the warehouse 1&1/2 hrs of my time to finally tell me that they would have to reorder the king size frame and it would take about 2wks. when i told the warehouse mgr that i was unsure if i wanted to wait that long he said ""well hurry up and make a decision, because my guys need to make another delivery""!! i held on to the bed, accepted a substitute frame and called the customer svc dept to see what was going on. nobody returned that day to fix the frame, which is still broken (3wks later), nor did anyone in cust svc return my call.
i called again, they told me they were trying to figure it out and would get back to me with some options. after a WEEK, i still hadnt heard so i went into the store personally and talked to the sales mgr, who told me someone would call me back later with an answer. i told him that was not okay, i was extremely frustrated, was thinking of returning it, etc, and he said he would give me a good price on a lamp. when i told him i was fed up and wanted a bed not a lamp he said ""hey its not my company, dont blame me"" so i left, flabbergasted. called the cust svc dept 2 more times with no answer before finally being told that the part was no longer available. when i asked what they were going to do about this to compensate me for my time and energy and they said nothing. nor did they offer me a replacement. so i told them i wanted to return the bed and they said fine, without a single attempt to keep my sale. i asked to speak to the cust svc mgrs supervisor and she told me she would ask him to call me but that he was really busy. literally the worst customer service of all time and clearly a company that could care less about their products, their disgruntled employees, or their customers.
