I love their Bundt cakes! And they have fabulous icing. The cake reminds me of my mother's and I get very nostalgic when I eat it. I just wish the parking situation would be better. I don't even mind the wait but the parking is catastrophic!

I have heard about this bakery for years. However last week I finally decided to purchase a birthday cake. I was totally disappointed. The cake was tasteless and a better one could've been purchased at the local supermarket for about 1/4 th of the price. When I was quoted the price I thought it was quite high but felt if the cake was as people had alluded to I would pay it. Maybe in the past ithis bakery may have been great if so they need to return to the recipes of yesteryear.

Well I have to start off by saying that this bakery is great! I always buy the yellow cakes I think they are the best. The yellow cakes are tasty, light and fluffy. You can taste the real butter and extracts that are used to prepare the cake. I really don't care for the pound cake, but that is because I don't like heavy thick cakes from anywhere. I am always confused at birthday parties when the grown ups get the pound cake for the kids, and the kids just lick the iceing off the cake and just leave a block on their plate. Just buy the yellow cake! DUH!!! The cake at the party is not just for you!. The cookies, cupcakes, and dinner rolls from Denises are also delicious. Denises is worth the money, and by the way they are not even that expensive like other upper class bakeries like Bredenbecks etc etc. To me the cake even tastes better. The only negative things I can say about Denises is that the wait to order and pick up is RIDICULOUS!!!! Please find a better way to do things. Sometimes I want a Denises cake but I just simply do not feel like the wait, therefore it pushes me to go to Sams Club and pick up a cake. Please find a better system. Those numbers, long lines out of the door, and terrible parking is torture on your customers. I know that you are getting enough money to expand and get a bigger place. Please try, I still luv you but something has got to give!
