Canine Clippers

I was really disappointed by Canine Clippers. We took our puppy Bichon Frise to Canine Clippers and their first cut was perfect and hooked us into their services and made us 'trust' them. The following visit was only a few weeks later in October of 2011 and like the last time we visited we requested a cleaning of his underbelly area, facial hair and such but requested to not shorten the length by much. To our surprise we picked up a dog that was fully shaved from top to bottom. We thought there might have been a miscommunication in our request and gave this store one more opportunity and this time specifically stated that if they were not able to groom him without taking all his hair down, to absolutely NOT shave him. And the owner said absolutely understand if we get into too many matted issues we'll give you a call and ensure that you're ok with shaving him down. And I said please do call me but we do not want him shaved under any circumstances. We received no call and assumed they were able to take care of our little buddy but to our horror he was completely shaved down in the dead middle of the December winter.



Bottom line I would not recommend this pet groomer if you have a small, medium or big dog that requires any additional attention to properly groom them or else they will just shave them down.
