My experience at Dr. Valerie Bossard’s office with the doctor herself was so horrible its saddening. Recently having an abnormal pap, I showed up for a (scheduled as so) “consultation” appointment before work on a Friday, 7:45 am. So I check in at 7:42, wait, get my weight done, get taken to the room etc… Wait for the Dr.

Let’s say its 7:55.. latest..Doctor’s Arrival. Dr. Bossard was friendly and upbeat at first and seemingly willing to answer and let me jot down info on a paper of questions I’d brought with, to explore what my next steps were…. UNTIL. Until its approximately 10 minutes into my “consultation” and I notice her checking her watch and becoming increasingly short and disinterested. Its 8:11 and she leaves my appointment saying “oh, im getting backed up, let me check on some people”. I’m astonished, “the Doctor just left my appointment? How is that acceptable?”. How could someone care about my health and not even give me 20 minutes of their time? Barely 15! She returns at 8:28 (I had already told myself I would demand my money back at 8:30) and has now been gone from me, just as long, if not longer than, I was with her to begin with. I express that I don’t think she is concerned with my health and she even replies that “some people come early so they can get to work”, as if I myself am not there before work! She expressed little agreement that is was wrong to leave my appointment. The very next day I receive certified mail, overnight delivery from Dr. Bossard. It’s a letter expressing she cannot be my doctor with a lie, saying we “disagree on what the treatment should be”, along with a medical records release form. I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism (leaving an appointment to tend to others) and the level of childishness (refusal to recognize and apologize for ones faults) that Dr. Bossard displayed to me. I would never recommend someone here, ever.
