If I were to write a review I would write about three topics; atmosphere, food, and service. The atmosphere is extremely romantic and calm and is perfect for bringing your loved one for a nice romantic dinner. The food was outstanding both times I have been there and is prepared perfectly. The service has been amazing each time we go there from the tableside made salads to the waiters and waitresses. Our waiter Keith was extremely quick, polite, down to earth, and had amazing recommendations for me and my girlfriend. Amazing restaurant and our favorite!
I have been to the Bistro for my birthday and also for some of my friends special occasions. I always have a wonderful time and the atmosphere is not stuffy. Yet sometimes my decisions in food orders have been excellent to just satisfactory. I am not sure if it is just my tastebuds that peticular evening or not. Nevertheless it has always been a night to remember.
As we showed up an hour late for our reservation and with two extra guests, the staff was accommodating and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the crab-filled ravioli. Portion size was right on and the price was reasonable for the quality of food.
Bistro Romano is amazing. It is the best place to go to eat before or after visiting the Walnut Street Theater. Great show, the amazing dinner. I brought two friends who had never been to Bistro Romano before and they loved the food. Our server Keith was wonderful. We had a fantastic time as always.
Keith was our server and I would (if I could) appoint him to our home waitstaff. He was simply marvelous! Keith is well informed on foods, flavors and tastebuds. He was simply entertaining when he made the Caesars Salad tableside and offered tips for doing so at home. Keith is at the top of his game.
