My friend, who uses a wheelchair, and I used this cab company. The man swore at us, took my 10 dollars for the
7.75 fare and refused to talk with us when confronted. Called the main number to complain. The woman was nice but wanted me to call another number. I didn't have a pen but told her I would post a review. Terrible man. His cab was P0780. Avoid him.
Can't say enough terrible things about this cab company. I called the night before to make a reservation for a cab. It never showed. When I called them, they told me that they don't take reservations. WTH? Why take my reservation then? They also then attempted to extort me, saying they could pick me up if I paid them extra. I was desperate that I said I would. However, they didn't show up even then, and I had to get another cab. Almost missed my train.
Just like the reviewer below me, I too just joined for the purposes of writing this review. I have never written a review for any kind of product or service before, but this was just unacceptable and unprofessional. I reserved a cab through their website two days before I needed the service. As my pick up time came and went, with no taxi in sight, they called me 15-20 minutes AFTER they were supposed to be there - only to tell me they had "NO available taxis in the area" to take me! After informing me of this incredible inconvenience, they abruptly hung up on me, without giving me a chance to ask why or who else I could call, or most importantly, how this could happen after I reserved a cab online TWO DAYS prior?! Their service is deplorable and I would never recommend them to anyone. If I could give them no stars, I would.
minimum of twice a week i take a cab home because it's too late to walk four miles home. this costs me $10.50 or so, always. or so i thought until I was driven 2 miles southwest in the wrong direction, to take the expressway where we then had to pass my exit because no one in the company had thought to radio the drivers about the construction going on, then had to turn around and start from eleven blocks away from where we began. it came to 22 and though i REALLY didn't want to tip i gave him 3. usually I tip $5 for the $10 trip but this was ridiculous.
WORST SERVICE IN THE WORLD EVER!!!!!!!!! one star is far to many this company BERNIE HAD A HORRIBLE ATTITUDE !! he hung up on me twice yelled and threatened me , then he claimed he was the manager, so rude and bitter and disrespectful , do yourself a favor and do use this company... ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON HERE MEAN SOMETHING
DON'T USE THIS TAXI COMPANY!! I left my phone on the taxi and called them a few hours later to look for it. They absolutely refused! Said that they drivers were on contract basis, said that they had no power to tell drivers what to do, tried to push off all responsibility! I called them a couple of days and they kept refusing, they were extremely rude, wouldn't pick up my phone, so I actually WENT to their office in South 12th Street to sort it out. They absolutely REFUSED to cooperate and threatened to call the police!!! The fat woman who was the manager was extremely rude!!! DON'T USE THIS TAXI COMPANY because if you lose something on their taxis you'll never get it back!! I told them I would write this review and they just said "Whatever". Stay away from them!!

My name is Jan Ruk. On friday night I left my suitcase in a cab's trunk. We got picked up at 2nd and Chestnut and drove to York and Tulip. Please write here or call 646 532 0279.
I am not sure which cab company it was, so I'm sending it to everyone, I'm desperate, I don't know how is possible that a taxi driver doesn't report the suitcase he found in his trunk. I just believe there are still good people out there and that maybe that taxi driver didn't see it was in there.
All I have in the US is in that suitcase. Thank you.
Last night I took a cab from 24th and Moore to 8th and spruce and the cab driver was mad because I paid with my card and not in cash he then got mad because I didn't put a tip on my card I was going to give it to him in cash but after the way he act I didn't give it to him at all some of the drivers need more customer service training.

I often ride public transportation around town. One night recently, I was leaving a party with friends and it was too late to catch the El. So I called all city cab. The drivers were nice, but cheats. We were to go from Fishtown to West Philly. Our driver took us through Northern Liberties to Old City, to 76 East towards 30th St. train station. Instead of getting off 76 at 30th St. or South/Spruce St., the driver took us to South Philly, over the bridge to Southwest Philly. From there we took a detour through Southwest Philly, then started going down Baltimore Ave. towards University City. After this roundabout awful way of getting home, the driver explained to us that it was the best route. I asked him several times why we were going this way or that, and he didn't respond. A ride that should have cost 18 or 19 cost 25. Scam.

Few people are sharp and alert at 2 am. Fewer still are sharp and alert at 2 am in a strange place. That is where I found myself on July 4 having just arrived at Philadelphia International. I was just happy to jump into a cab and an All City driver was waiting. I told him I was going to the AIrport Marriot. He cranked up his meter and it read 28.50 I asked if he was sure about this because I expected the hotel to be close to the airport. Needless to say he took me to the downtown Marriot, pocketed 30.00 and left me in deep predicament. Jaded as I was I did not get a receipt and I did not take his number. Obviously I was not booked at this hotel, the rates are higher, and by now it was 3 a.m. In the end I paid extra to stay downtown had to pay $10 next morning on the shuttle to return to the Airport Marriot.
Cheating drivers should be expunged from your roster, they give your company a bad name.

I am a frequent user of Citysearch but I have never been inspired to write a review until now. You see, I sit here killing time before I leave 2hrs later than planned for my Labor Day getaway, thanks to All City Taxi. I have been a faithful customer of All City for two years now, and you would think that would be enough to get a cab on time when I need it, but no. Within the past two months, they have screwed me over for the following: Brewery tour plans (cab showed up an hour after they had promised me, only after 2-3 prompting phone calls), a concert (20 minutes late, one phone call from moi), dinner reservations (cab showed up 40 minutes late, after 2-3 calls), and now, catching the Greyhound bus to D.C. (I missed my bus entirely, so at LEAST 30 minutes late). Furthermore, you will be on hold for forever and a day. The only reason I am giving them 3 stars is because in the past they have been very reliable for me; it seems, however, that in the past month their management has changed or something, because the quality of service has taken a MARKED downtown. I have been jerked around TOO MANY TIMES; reader, do not let yourself be jerked around as well! Program this number in your cell at your own risk; or, if you do, make sure to have a backup just in case.
