I appreciate the prompt service!I called and within two hours an electrician arrived on time. Wow!Scott is the service technician every homeowner dreams of having in their home. Thomas Edison Electric's ownership should be proud of this man for his personal skills along with his electrical knowledge. I wouldn't think twice about calling this company again for service.

I had one dead outlet in a circuit. The company charged $618 to reconnect a hot wire that blew loose on a GFI outlet in the other bathroom! The electrician was here for less than 30 minutes! I am currently disputing the price. In order for him to do the work today you HAVE to sign a waiver of right to cancel, however, I specifically stated on the phone this is not an emergency and there is no urgency... The day before the electrician came out but he could not perform the diagnosis because they do not accept personal checks and they needed a credit card, however, my mother was at work... No one from the company mentioned there are payment restrictions when scheduling the appointment... FYI they also take a impression of your credit card before even starting the work.EDIT:I got the price reduced to $450. I understand the diagnosis fee and that sometimes diagnosing the problem can take time which varies from job to job, however, if the problem is found within 15 minutes and it is a quick fix I think the price should be subject to change reflecting the time spent. I would have no problem paying the $618 dollars if the electrician was there for several hours and the problem more complex. I will never give this company my business ever again. I would not recommend this company to anyone... Beware, you are warned!
Thomas Edison Electric are thieves. They were told their service was canceled and not to cash the deposit check twice over the phone. And they still did. Charged $4800 for a $1400 job.
