Planning a wedding on a budget is nerve wracking. Searching for wedding bands only adds to the tension, wanting something memorable at the right price. I just returned from ring shopping and I'm actually smiling. My fiance and I went to Market Street Gold on a recommendation from my father. We were very skeptical. . Well, "lo and behold", this place was awesome! First, we were able to find street parking right on 10th. There was "kiosk" parking above and below Market on 10th, which surprised us. Then, we entered the store and were greeted by a pleasant staff. Maria was only too glad to help us and made us both feel relaxed. When we had numerous questions, Anthony, an owner, introduced himself. He was very knowledgeable as well as personable and answered all our questions. The atmosphere was so pleasant, we spent much longer than anticipated searching for the perfect rings. We were never rushed, which led us to totally changing our plan and choosing rings we never thought we would like or could afford. Sizing the rings was also an easy task. Even though my fiance wears larger than a 15, the rings will be done quickly. This was such a positive experience. We purchased gorgeous rings of great quality that will last a life time and we found a new jewelers for our family. This find will definitely come in handy since we have two daughters with a taste for "bling". Thank you Market Street Gold for your high quality pieces, great staff and excellent service. Check out their web site too for a taste.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO SELL YOUR OLD GOLD,GO HERE! I had some old gold, broken pieces, etc. that you're looking to sell, this is a great place to go-at least go in & see what they have to say.Chances are you'll get a much more fair & higher offer than other places on jeweler's row. Most places always act like they don't want what you have,& are doing you a huge favor by giving you a lowball offer.I've done extensive research of what you should get when you sell your old gold,& realize that in many cases, you have to expect to get the melt value (especially in my case, where most of what I had was mismatched,broken,and/or outdated),plus a store has to make a profit too,so I have a good general idea of what's realistic for resale, even with the rising prices of gold.I seriously almost fell over when he gave me an offer;I'd thought if I could actually somehow find an honest jeweler, that I'd be lucky to get not even half of what they offered me.I've sold old/broken pieces before,& you can't ever act eager or like you're super happy, but really,it took everything for me to keep my cool & pretend to mull it over.I'd highly recommend this place;I wouldn't have gotten a better offer anywhere else,& if you want to avoid the whole nonsense most places on jeweler's row give you,& get a more than fair, straightforward offer,I highly recommend this place.
"I don't know how I lived before I met you!!!" I am a person who really spend money on jewelry. I deal with many jewelers on a regular basis. Yet when it came down to my very engagement ring, I was far lost into the haystack. Since I am not, in theory, the purchaser of the ring, yet the one who wear it, we had to work with his budget to get the ring that I can be happy wearing. It was like a 6 month quest that we almost lost hope, until we walked into D'Antonio & Kline by our dumb-luck one Sat afternoon. We finished our engagement ring journey with a 'happy-ever-after'. We had gone thru probably 20 jewelers - new ones & ones I regular deal with. We were shopping for a 2+ carats eye-clean around G-I color with $8500 budget for diamond. It was a long, but very bearable process with John holding our hand. By the final chapter, we walked out with 3.15 cts eye-clean GIA center stone w/ 4.65 cts total carats. We pushed our envelop on the budget to close to $11,000 for the whole project, yet we can't be happier. Needless to say, D'Antonio & Kline is my jeweler from now on. Special Thanks to John & Jonathan! Now only if we can make the wedding planning as smoothly as dealing with D&K, we will be in the perfect world.
My boyfriend & I made the trip to Jewelers Row from the Jersey Shore to shop for an engagement ring, we stopped into a few stores and Harzin was one of them. Susan Newman helped us, she was wonderful. She sat down with us and helped us pick out a ring. After I selected a few I liked, she started pulling ones she thought I might like, throwing in a few that were a little different from the "style" I was looking for. (which I really liked because the ring I ended up liking the most wasn't what I was originally looking for) I tried on at least 25 different settings and then she picked out a loose diamond to place into each of the settings to narrow down the choices. She was very patient with us and didn't mind spending the time to pick out the "perfect" ring. She was very educated about diamonds and let us use the scope to show us the difference between a good diamond and a "bad" diamond. She was very respectful of our budget and wasn't pushy at all. I definietly recommend stopping at Harzin if you are looking on Jewelers Row.
Robert is great! He's the best jeweler around from my opinion....my finance got my engagement ring there and he kept him in his budget no problem..If your looking for someone to be honest with you and work with you whether your on a budget or have a certain design in mind, please go see Robert. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. The quality of his jewelery is incredible....My engagement ring was one that he designed. Actually he was trying to make one thing and ended up w/this ring.... I love my ring! And now, for my wedding band, he custom made it to fit my ring! He's awesome... (Believe me, we went to plenty of other jewelers, and felt like we were getting ripped off. Robert told us exactly what some of them would say and he was right....) I'm so happy I was referred to Robert....and I have referred a co-worker of mine, who was just as pleased!) Thanks Robert!! Your the best. Antoinette Phila, PA
I have dealt with both Jeffrey and Nathan, on three different occasions. The first time I traded in an engagement ring when I got engaged again. I explained the price range and what I wanted and Nathan got me a "D" blue white stone for a fraction of what someone else would have charged. I traded in my old gold to make my fiance a beautiful initial ring. Nathan worked with me on the mold, until it was what I wanted. When I turned 60 I treated myself to a diamond tennis bracelet. Jeffrey was kind enough to change the round stones at my request to a whiter stone and made sure to give me the original price for the white gold as this was a pre designed bracelet that I choose to buy as I liked the design. The service is great and I would highly recomment Barsky. I think they are honest, and trustworthy, and have the most selection of diamonds and prices to suit anyone's budget on Jeweler's Row. Shyne Jewelers is the best jewelry store in the city, do not go anywhere else!!! I first went a year ago after I was walking on South Street with my people and I saw a nice diamond bracelet in the window. When I went in, they were so friendly. Though the earrings were out of my budget, Joe found me a similar pair that I loved just as much that was more affordable, and I love them. Ive gotten since several pairs of real designer watches, not like that fake labels you get everywhere else on South Str.. Best of all, they always remember me, take care of me, and make sure that I am always on top of my bling game. I wont ever go anywhere else, not even to get my battery changed in my watch.
I went to see Ron, and was immediately greeted like I was family to him. I went in because I needed to get my battery on my watch fixed and I was also looking for a gold chain. Ron began to show me everything that he had, which was a beautiful selection, and he answered everyone of my questions. I than landed on a chain I wanted and he was extremely fair priced. He than helped me choose a pendant. He ordered me the one that I wanted and than we went over some diamonds because I was interested in an engagement ring soon. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, personal, and honest. I have the upmost faith in him. If your into jewelery this is the ONLY place to go.
Not long ago my husband went to Barsky's for a tenth wedding anniversary present. Nate, as usual, provided superb customer service, helping my husband pick out the most beautiful 10 carat tennis bracelet! Given the amount of money such an item costs, my husband did due diligence and compared what Barsky's was offering to that of other retailers - and confirmed what we already knew from past experience in dealing with this jeweler - that is, that NOBODY undersells Barsky's or does a better job at ensuring we are thrilled with our purchase! We have always enjoyed working with their staff and will continue to do so for a long time to come, I am sure.
First of all, My fiance had my engagement ring re-banded here and Ron gives a fair price!! You don't have to worry about being robbed by the jeweler. We bought our wedding bands here as well and had an amazing experience. Friendly customer service and free parking for starters. We were shown every wedding band that we could possibly be interested in, got quotes and fair suggestions. I know when I come here I am getting an honest quote and opinion! I was also able to have my engagement ring re-sized that day! I highly recommend Panepinto Jewelers!! Don't bother going anyplace else!
