I was always taught that you treat others as you would want to be treated. I experienced this lesson first hand on September 1-2, 2015 through your service department and awesome employees. On August 31st, my mother and I left SC on a road trip to visit her older sisters in Philadelphia. When we arrived in Hershey, my mother thought she heard a noise coming from the front passenger side wheel. Initially, I did not hear the noise. After touring the Hershey Chocolate Factory, we hit the road and headed to Lancaster, PA. It was then, that I began to hear some noise. The noise began to gradually get worse and I began to feel it. Of course, I felt frustrated, disheartened and didn't know what to do after trying to seeking assistance from two other dealerships. I knew something major was wrong and didn't know how long it would be before my vehicle would stop operating or become unsafe to drive. After praying, calming myself and determining the next plan of action, I found your dealership and was fortunate/blessed that the operator transferred my call to the service department and the Service Manager, Danny, whom I describe as my angel on earth. I shared the above story with him and he said something that gave me hope that someone was willing to take the time to assist me. He said that he didn't know whether he could help, but if it was his mother, daughter or sister, he wouldn't want them stranded while traveling and asked that I bring the vehicle to the service department to at least be checked to make sure it was safe to drive. I arrived at 6:00 PM and he was assisting another family but made me feel at eased that I was in the right place. I realized while talking to him that Danny was one in a million. He has the gift and skills of excellent customer service and empathy for his customers. These qualities are hard to find in our fast paste and sometimes uncaring, non-flexible and unaccommodating world. Danny contacted me on September 2nd with great news. The problem was the right front hub bearing assembly needed to be replaced. He explained the cost and procedures. While waiting to pick up my vehicle, I observed customers interacting with Danny and realized that his character, personality, attention to detail and rapport with customers and fellow employees has allowed him to establish a community in the service department in which customers feel welcomed and cared for and are not afraid to communicate their needs, give compliments and thanks to the service department employees. What I experienced and observed can only happen when a company/team has established a culture and environment in which all stakeholders are valued, appreciated and respected. My mother and I arrived safely back home in SC. The Equinox sounds and drives great! Once again, I thank your company, the Gordon Chevrolet family, Danny and the entire service department.

I recently bought a car from this auction (2002 hyundai ). First off you will not be allowed inside the car at all. You will only be allowed to look at the car and its engine. The staff will not be helpful, they only want the money for the vehicle; they will not answer any questions except when and where you will be able to pay for the vehicle. My winning bid was for $2900 (after the auction added there many, many fee’s the cast was $3500. I had to pay $800 on scene when I made the winning bid (they want cash and won’t accept checks). I was then rushed into a back room with an armed guard and 2 tellers behind bullet proof glass; they will not allow you to bring anyone into this room with you. They will answer no questions about your vehicle except its make, year and model, and watch your paperwork! They put me down as having $800 down when I paid $900, it took an hour of me waiting and yelling at several different people to get this corrected. Your down payment is non-refundable, so be sure you want the car your bidding on because no matter what happens you will never see that money again. After paying $800 down, you will have 2 days to gather the rest of the money and bring it to them. Remember if you don’t have that money in 2 days, they keep the down payment and your car goes back up of sale. After buying the car I found that the following repairs were needed. New Battery, Replaced front passenger ball joint, Replaced starter, Brakes, Tune up, and a few other things, that total a little over $800.
Their first review is not going to be good. I saw one of their cars in CarGurus and Craigslist. It looked great and appeared to be priced right. It had a clean carfax and was a one owner car. This was rare for a 2006. I test drove it and it seemed to ride good and from outward inspection everything seemed ok. I followed up with 2 local shops. The first was for a "going over" and oil change. The going over was not that good. It needed front brakes and rotors. It had a bad front tire and 2 different sized tires on the back. This visit cost me about $1100. The next was to a Mercedes service center (not a dealer). This is where it gets expensive. It needed a cabin temperature sensor since there was no in between settings of the heat or AC. It was either full AC or full heat. It also needed the outside door handle with the electronics for the keyless Go system. The passenger door worked but the drivers door did not. Both of these parts are on order from Germany for $720 plus installation. The convertible room and power trunk stopped working after 2 days. That needed 2 control relays. That was over $600. All in all, I do love this car. Hopefully, this will be the end of the issues. I just wish I knew about them prior to buying the car. It would have made a difference on how much I was willing to pay for it.
Sooo, I had my very 1st real accident two weeks ago. :^((( I was in Center City and the shop couldn't be closer. After handling all of the business with the cops - I was free to go But I didn't know what to do. I couldn't drive the car. I was hit on my right side door, bumper & tire! I'm stressed, late for work & worried sick... The tow truck driver was there in NOOOO time..... even before the cops (SMH!). My car was towed, The lady running the front desk Alison took care of me from there! She dealt with the insurance company, me & provided car updates, as I waited with supplied coffee, bagels with cream cheese ( I'm hungry when stressed...heeheee). Even though, they couldn't verify my Insurance - the OWNER still entrusted me with a rental car that day! I was so appreciative. My car insurance situation was resolved & they requested I get a different car. So Alison took car of the switch from one car to another without any effort or concern from me. I just had to be there. My CAR LOOKS AMAZING and it run like new again!! - 2013 Toyota. Sorry Alison, but if I every have another accident - I will need you to hold my hand again. Thank you for your general support, concern & care!
I found this place on bustleton avenue and immediately liked the selection of imports they had on hand. Quickly I fell for an Audi A6. George, the owner, made the process of buying the car effortless. I greatly appreciated that considering this was my first car purchase. He easily settled on a great price well below blue book value. If that wasnt enough George also took the initiative to make a few alterations to the body and paint that I had suggested...and oh yes he did this free of charge! O couldn't believe this considering I gave him such short notice and quite a specific demand. When all was said and done the great price we agreed on never went up a penny from our initial talks and I drove away in a beautiful Audi. I cannot describe how easy he made the process for me, the five star rating doesn't do it justice. When I go to buy my next import I know where my one stop shop is. It should be yours as well, your wallet and smile will thank you. Thanks again to George for making my first purchase painless and enjoyable. This place rocks.
I went to their lot to look for a Subaru Forester under 100K. They didn't have it, but George, the owner, told me he will find one for me. A week later, he call me to test drive the car. It was a beautiful, clean, 2003 Forester with 85K miles. I like the car. During the test drive, I notice a few problems like the passenger power window didn't work, brakes are weak, and the wheel bearing in the back is make noise. He told me he would fix at that. True to his word, two days later when I test drive again, everything he said was fixed with new parts. I bought the car. The very next day, at 8:30AM, I had a problem starting the car due to the security features. I am not familiar with the car and don't know what to do. I called him, and he came to my house in half an hour. He took care of the problem and paid for all expenses. George is a great honest car dealer. It is refreshing to find someone like that nowadays. I would definitely buy from him again and also recommend him to my friends.
This is an auto sales place where good business that is normally hard to find can easily be found here. At USA Exporting and Auto Sales business is not rushed. George the owner is lighthearted & laid back not forcing a sale. He negotiates and once a price is agreed upon he moves on with the process. He does more than he has to. I walked in and heard George speaking to a financial institution about rates for a potential customer in the person's absence. It sounded to me like he was trying to get a good rate for customer. He sells a car with the "as is" agreement but encourages you to see him with any issues you may have. If you happen to have to see him with an issue he will make good on having told you to see him. He will take care of the issue. I do recommend that others visit and purchase a vehicle from USA Exporting & Auto Sales. You will find a very nice selection of vehicles that are good quality at fair and better than a fair prices.
I WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS AT THE BEGINNING BECAUSE THIS WAS MY FIRST BIG PURCHASE EVER SO THAT'S THAT. WHEN I BOUGHT MY CAR HERE IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD AT ANY CAR PLACE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. THEY TREATED ME LIKE FAMILY FROM THE START TO END LOOKING AT THE CAR I WANTED, TEST DRIVING IT AND TO THE END OF SIGNING THE PAPERS EVERYTHING WAS 1,2,3 JUST LIKE THAT. THEY GAVE ME A RIDE TO THE MECHANIC PLACE TO PICK UP MY CAR, ALSO GAVE ME A LONER CAR WILE MY CAR IS BEING WORKED ON, GREAT SERVICE COMES WITH A LITTLE PATIENCE, SO I GAVE GEORGE (NICEST GUY YOU WILL EVER MEET) AND STAFF A CHANCE TO PROVE THEM SELVES AND THEY DELIVERED AS PROMISED, SO IF YOUR THINKING OF BUYING A CAR FROM THEM DON'T HESITATE STOP ON BUY AND CHECK OUT THE LOT OF NICE CARS AND SUV'S NO JOKE THIS PLACE ROCKS. P.S. IF I CAME ALL THE WAY FROM ACROSS TOWN TO SEE THIS PLACE IT MUST BE SOMETHING GOING ON GOOD. I LOVE THIS PLACE. HAVE A NICE DAY CAR SHOPPING : )
I came in to lease a chevy trax because at this time financialy I cannot afford the payments of a new car and did not want to purchase a used car,so my daughter who leases her vehicle convinced me to try leasing, my car was 14 years old and was starting to cost me money every time I had inspection and as a single women breaking down once on the ac expressway was enough. I found the salesman Sam to be extremley helpful in trying to get me to a price I can afford but ran into trouble when my credit score was low , I left disappointed but did come back on Monday to ask if my mother could co sign for my lease , Sam did get his boss involved and Steve found out that the finance dept had my mortgage payment mixed up with my monthly salary, if he didn t take the extra time to check this I would have left disappointed again but instead I drove out of the dealership with a new car and good price!! Thank You,Kathleen
I entered into an agreement to purchase my 2013 Limited Edition Pontiac Grand Prix with Donna in the office in March 2010. To say I was concerned about buy here/pay here would be an understatement given how SOME would do business. Donna and all of the staff I ever dealt with were always great to deal with. The car itself has had minor issues in the time I have had it and is my daily driver now almost 4 and a half years later. They don’t just buy and resell just anything to have product on hand. I would recommend them HIGHLY as I had no credit and wanted to establish some and Donna was/is great to work with as far as being direct and informative of the processes involved. If you don't understand things, you will. Very fair and decent to their customers.
