The manager at this place is a racist . I came in with my black family of 7 and was forced to sit at separate tables. I asked for a better accommodation and the manager was nasty and full of bigotry .
Excellent service great food and atmosphere
A nice cozy old-school style eatery with great grub and friendly neighbors. After leaving the area 30 years ago I relocated here a few years back with my family and passed the eatery quite often but never went in. Truthfully, I didn't think it was my cup of tea, but my best friend, who'd just moved to the area from Southwest Philly with her family, dragged me in one day. We both walked out grinning like Two BrokQe Girls with change in our pockets having decided it would be our new regular gathering spot! The FOOD was Saturday-morning-at-home delicious; like when you wake up late and take your time scrambling your eggs and cooking your grits and the coffee percolates slow. And the PRICES are right, very right. It is so refreshing to be able to go out for brunch and not have to empty out your bank account to do so. The PATRONS are a combination of old regulars and newbies, but everyone seems to know one another. Either way, people "speak" whether they know you or not. We got to hear some delightful stories from a couple sitting next to us and a man at the table behind us. Best of all, though, between the food, the folks and the atmosphere, I finally feel right at home.
My friends and i went there a week ago waited an hour for food while everyone else was eating. Server was rude too!
I have been at this location several times and seems to get worse. The fact that no matter how many complaints you make they still have the same management and staff. At some point you would think geniuses that own Ihop would get a clue. But like everything else if its in the hood who cares. I will NEVER GO TO IHOP AGAIN.
The wait on food is ridiculous!!!! The waitress brought out one dish and took another 5 minutes to bring the other
WOW, THE BEST FOOD I'VE TASTED IN A LONG TIME. LOVED THE SALMON, FISH AND GRITS, SWEET POTATO FRIES AND TERYAKI BURGERS. MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH SPOT
