I shop here on a weekly basis. For the most part it's a pleasant shopping experience. I purchase all my lunch meat in there deli, which is also a good experience w decent customer service. However one deli employee is horrible. Her name is Shawnta. I have never felt so disrespected and literally nervous ever time I have to give her my order. I don't understand how she still has a job. She should be fired immediately. I don't order my lunch meat if I see that she is working anymore. It's unacceptable. Other customers have said the same thing to me as we stand and wait for our numbers to be called. She needs to go. I've never left a review before, but I had to for this women. Shawnta is a short black women with white ropes in her hair. Steer clear of her ,she's miserable and will disrespect you almost ever time.
I didn't see a recent review so I thought I'd write one. For a neighborhood deli/grocery, you can't do better, both for friendly, helpful service and product quality. Prices are right also and the place is neat and squeaky clean.
i recently visited your store on 5th street and had a question on a circular product I went to the courtesy desk and asked to see the store manager an elderly man came up to me with a very arrogant disposition and told what ever the circular states is what it is and told me to talk to anoher women who was there I simply walked ou and I will never return o acme at 5th again
It made me give a star rather minus all five..
As other people have noted, their variety is very good but customer service is just about the worst if not THE WORST of any store in Philly. I went to the location in the northeast just off the Boulevard. On two different occasions I stepped up to the checkout with no other people ahead of me. Both time the cashier was speaking to someone who was not in line or making a purchase - just having a conversation. I stood there waiting to be rung up but was ignored until I spoke up. Unless I really have to, i.e. they have something I can't get anyplace else, I don't go there again. The cashiers at The Farmers Market - formerly known as Hong Kong Supermarket - on Adams Ave, are much more friendly and efficient.
When I visited this strore, one lady she attended me, with bad attitude. Not good service
The guys and the owner of the store are good ppl
