If you want to avoid entering the hosting hell dimension, here are 10 potential entertaining glitches, and how to avoid them.
This was the second time my husband and I went in the past month. Both times the food was awful and the staff was cursing each other which I thought was ridiculous. You could tell they weren’t cleaning everything properly there was black stuff all over the waffle. My husband said the men’s bathroom was filthy and had he seen it before we ordered we would have left. We have eaten there several times and the food is usually good. The staff didn’t look all that clean either but we tried to give them the benefit of doubt. I would no recommend this place to anyone.
My family and I went this morning and we sat down and then a worker started screaming at another young worker. I felt sorry for the young man and I thought that was very uncalled for. Number 1.... workers should NOT scream in public at no one especially a coworker !! This place was the most worst atmosphere I have been in in public. We walked out and several other folks walked out after us.
Went around 2:00 on a Sunday they were busy. But busy doesn't mean you should be rude!!! Our food was good, and if we asked for something we got it but they were short handed, had to ask for our extra sides. They were all very busy. The table behind us had asked for hash browns instead of eggs for her French toast side the waitress said sure. She was brought eggs and sent them back she was almost done with her meal and still no hash browns. She was then very rudely told by another staff member that you can't sub hash browns for eggs, took her the menus and said let me show you eggs are what comes with this plate, eggs are $2:49 and hash browns are $1:99. The staff member said you can't do that, hmm looks like to me would been cheaper for the restaurant, but the thing is the waitress told her she could do. So in the end she got no eggs no hash browns and paid for a plate. The same staff member checked her out and was rude the whole time, countinue to lecture her about she couldn't order that way. What happened to the customer is always right, well not here. I work in the public you don't talk to the customer the way she did. I kept expecting a manager to come say something but no one ever did. My husband couldn't stand it anymore he was in line to pay behind the other customer, he told the staff member you don't talk to customers like that. She wanted to argue with him and he told her they probably won't be back and neither will we!Not a good experience!!!
Tables had not been cleaned employees yelling about working from 7 til 11 waited 45 minutes for food then the cook was not wearing gloves we left without eating will never stop there again
Waited over an hour for food. During that time 17 people walked out. The worst service ever. Will not go back. They need some serious changes.
Came in with my service dog and was ask to take her outside, lady said she was not allowed in the restaurant. The lady said the dog was not doing a service for me. This was the first time visiting, I will not be going back there.
This was our first time there. When we walked in, the place was clean, and we were greeted by Dawn, who also was our server. It took us a couple of minutes to order, they have a large menu, but Dawn was pleasant and not pushy. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful (Thank you Dawn). We will definitely dine there again and again.
have NEVER worked for a business SO unprofessional. The managers curse at their employees, the waitresses steal other waitresses tips (even the manager who is also a waitress). While the rest of the employees are required to look "professional" and wear uniform, the manager/waitress is out on the floor serving in wedges and tight clothing. The cooks do NOT wear gloves, and they smoke cigarettes where the food is being made. If a hair falls on someone's plate of food before being served, the waitresses will just pick it out.
Found myself very disappointed in the owner of this restaurant. He begins a drawing as a customer appreciation (I guess). Instead of faithfully giving customers a ticket for the drawing that is to be held in June 2012...You have to ask for it. We did just that....and went back in order to enter each time...of course the rule was that you had to eat (be a customer). We did. Well on Memorial Day we went in and the owner had reniged. He had withdrawn the drawing drum and cancelled the contest. We find this unacceptable and a breach of agreement between him and his customers. I like to be able to rely on honesty where I do business.
We have stopped and eaten here twice, while driving through town, and the food is outstanding. Highly recommended is the barbeque plate with pulled pork, beans, and cole slaw, along with iced tea. I think they serve a buffet on weekdays.
