I received a amazon package on a Saturday by USPS it was not the right item. Sunday i printed a return label took to post office and placed in the inside box. I figured out a week later it was to be returned using Ups not USPS. My problem is when i went and asked about it was told they would put it in back and ups could pick it up when they can in. I asked if he could check and see if it was there, was told no he could not. I said, guess i wont get my refund and he said guess not. There was only one other person in line waiting so it was not like he was busy.(luckily only losing $14.98 refund)
The post office has forgotten to scan my prepaid label packages 3 different times routing them to Miami and back because that's what happens when packages are not scanned leaving my priority mail packages to be delayed by 2 1/2 weeks. So I was advised by my post office to always get a receipt when I drop off my packages as reassurance. Well this is the only post office in a three state radius that DOES NOT give you a receipt. The older lady working the counter stated "We don't give receipts!" Sorry!" Then she proceeds to hold the packages up and hit the beep noise with the scanner not weighing etc saying "See! They scanned now." The time she took (as a former postal worker myself) she could have just proceeded with the proper protocol. Unfortunately she was either not trained properly or just plain out having a bad day and wanted to start problems. Either way, there are plenty of people out there who would LOVE her job and need a good job because she seems to really really dislike hers. Professionalism and being proactive to provide excellent service goes a long way and is more recognizable.
Great Service! Having epilepsy, I dread going out in public. It's a disability that you can't see. I suffer from memory problems and anxiety. The postal employee who helped me July 11, 2016 was patient, courteous and very helpful. He did not know I was disabled; yet, he was as kind as he could be and he didn't even ring me up. He just assisted me. I find it hard to believe that there are still people in this world who are that polite. I just wanted to say his actions are truly appreciated and 'Thank You!'Time of Visit- Jul 11/2:17
Just wanted to say thanks for putting our idiot postman back on our route! Things have been so awesome for the past month or two. 1805 south railroad street
They have always done a great job for me.
If I could give the Phenix City Alabama Post Office negative stars, I would. I moved to an apartment here 4 months ago and they have marked several expensive rare books as undeliverable and destroyed them. I live in an apartment and they never attempted delivery on my packages, no notices were ever left, and they couldn't even bother leaving the at the office, which is open till 6:00 every day. Tracking says they were "undeliverable" even though the address is clearly correct and complete. I will be reporting them to the postal regulatory Commission and hiring an attorney now. In the meantime I have my mail sent to a PO box in Columbus Georgia.
Very thorough and professional customer support from employees.
