If I had seen the reviews below first, I probably would not have bought a rig. However, I bought the three point hydraulic one. So far, so good. It was shipped on time and included everything ordered. One of the control valve handles had been broken during shipment. Tim K. replaced it wihout question and over nighted the part to me. Everything is very well built, they have always answered the phone and have been very helpful and didn't cash my check until after I had received the rig and called them with my satisfaction.

((( Hydra-Fab (they had removed the label from the part). When ordered from Granger I learned that the Speed Reducer installed at the factory was rated for a 1 HP electric motor (not the 16 HP gas motor it was coupled to). No wonder I broke it! I am very un-happy ..)))



Your answer is buy heavier gear box from granger, and its fixed, you cant expect hydrafab to give away all there trade secrets.

Hydrafab tim king never answered my calls after he cashed my check.

These guys are very hard, can ripp you off and never loose sleep.

I would never buy from Hydrafab tim king.

The boremaster drill swivel is homemade and leaked the 1st day. No service.

No answers.

Buyer Beware. Very cheap junk.

I bought a well rig from hydrafab real junk china parts hyd.overheated swivel leaked muddy water bearings locked up mudd pump went junk almost immediately drill stems wobbled so bad caused well to cave in they lied to me and cheated me out of 9200 dollars

The review above says it all. I've bought rigs from this company and the rig itself is fundamentally pretty good.

But we've had many quality problems and they are just not interested.

When you finally get them on the phone they are very friendly and promise quick action, but nothing happens. They just do not care about customer service and after sales service.

I've had drill rod and bits arrive with no threading!! I've had bent components and starter motors that don't work. I send e-mails, call on the phone and send faxes ------no reply.



They don't have a clue about shipping proceedures either. Just try to get a tracking number from them.....



Such a pity, 'cause their rig is by far the best of all the portables out there, and the price is good too.



If they'd just run their business properly it would be great.



My advice - avoid if possible.

Excellent water well drill rig. Very helpful when you can reach them. However, promises at point of sale not kept. Unresponsive to phone calls. They just don't return calls unless your buying a rig. That's a problem when you've given them your business and can't get a call back on support.
