DO NOT GO HERE !!! We went here searching for a new family kitten and were answered with an unwelcoming presence !! As soon as we walked in they seemed bothered we were there and when we saw the animals they rushed us and constantly telling us to hurry up !!! Then we asked to see the dogs to see that they all were being kept in a cold basement !! I made one remark about thinking the dogs were cute and they immediately said you can't adopt them ,keep away from the puppies, keep your hands away, stop touching them ,ect. !! They seemed like they didn't want then animals to he adopted !! As well as the young girl who worked there was very rude !! I will not come here again !!!

This is a kill shelter

REST IN PEACE PANDORA. This past tues, Pandora was killed by the vet as per the board members orders. She is on the Happy Tails section of their website, but there was no happy ending for her. Not once did any of the board members come see her before she died. They signed her death warrant (in my eyes, they did the deed), but they could not even say goodbye. And then to find out they left her body there at the vet's. They could not even bury her, she meant nothing to them. I tried to get Pandoras body so she could be buried with me when I die but it was to late. Pandora died with no be left at some vets to be disposed of like garbage. How can they say they are in it for the animals....all they care about is the public image. To not even take 10-15 minutes out of a day to spend some time with an animal you are going to kill and then leave the body for someone else to dispose is beyond words. There were people who would have adopted her, myself included but were told that the board already made their decision. This has happened to Turffles, Patches, Hooter and countless others. All were killed. The shelter uses a loop hole the government allows so they can keep their no kill status. In my eyes, if you kill even ONE animal you are a kill shelter. You may not be a high kill shelter but you are a kill shelter nonetheless. Stop lying to the public and tell them the truth. The members are never at the shelter. They do not see the pain and suffering on a daily basis. They stop by for 10 minutes once a month or so and think they did a good deed.
