I adopted a cat 1 1/2 years ago from this shelter. She was very ill and was marked to be euthanized. The poeple who worked for this shelter didn't give up on her and wouldn't allow me adopt her until she was better. I had to wait for a month before I could bring her home. She is a wonderful member of our family and we are all grateful to have each other. Ophelia still suffers from occasional bouts of illness, but she is very active and palyful. Our vet was thrilled with our decision to adopt Ophelia. He said he was on a waiting list to work with this shelter and offered his services for free.

I had a great experience at the shelter. Everyone was friendly and went the extra mile. They even stayed after hours to help me find the right dog...and it worked! Lola is perfect and healthy! I definitely recommend this shelter!
