I have shopped at this store since it was opened! They have always been kind and courteous even they and I have had problems with the auto checkout system. The ladies that usually cover the self-checkout area are usually rude and the opposite of helpful. For example, the self-checkout machines frequently need an approval when customers are scanning, no matter how carefully customers scan the items or follow the directions given by the machine's system. Yet, it seems like the employees working in this area intentionally make customers wait for their help for minutes on end, even if customers are simply trying to pay for their items. Some of them act like they are annoyed that they actually have to do their job when customers need assistance. Unfortunately, I have experienced this as well. The overall atmosphere here is unpleasant, lacking both basic professionalism and customer service. I think I may start shopping at Publix or Wal-Mart.
