Mitchell was our Photobooth attendant and he was great. Very personable. There was a large trunk of props, and the photo quality was good. The backdrops were nice to choose from and they let me design my own background for the photos (I'm a graphic designer). Flexible, and easy to work with!
Emerald Coast Event Rentals is a great locally owned wedding and special event rental company. Our guests loved the photo booth at our wedding. They had such a great time. Highly recommended.
Such a relaxed atmosphere to have a delicious meal! The food is great, options from seafood, tacos, chicken, and burgers. They serve beer and wine also! The Boneheads Shrimp is amazing!
We were attracted here because of a Groupon deal. Very neat and tidy, clean, quiet ambiance. We ordered étouffée, and a sampler of red beans, sausage, and rice and jambalaya. The étouffée was tasty with good quality sausage, light. A corn/ sausage dish was provided in lieu of cornbread, and that was good. The red beans were blended with tomatoes, onions, peppers and celery that was just a tad stewed or sautéed. The jambalaya was certainly not traditional, and ironically was prepared more like an iron pot étouffée. Many dishes, including fried seafood, are prepared in cornmeal only and not x-contaminated with flour, and that makes it a good place to eat for celiacs needing gluten free food, like me. Friendly service by the owner. Everything home cooked. I would place this restaurant alongside Cactus Flower in that neither restaurant is authentic in terms of ethnic-based food. In other words, this is not Baton Rouge food. It's missing some Cajun flair in terms of the blends and lack of kick spices, especially white pepper. But, it's unique, authentic home cooked, tasty, and unique in style and presentation. There are more veggies with this cooking, and that makes it a bit healthier. Prices very reasonable. We will definitely return to try other dishes.
There is only one Apple Market. A lot of groceries are packed into this narrow aisle store. Prices a bit higher overall than a big box grocer, but consider gas costs and you probably break even. Great produce department. Prices on Boars Head deli meats and cheeses can be significantly lower than other competing stores. Reminds me of grocers in small Vermont and New Hampshire communities. This store stands out with its deli and prepared foods. It can get very crowded as commuters swing in for pans of chicken salad, lasagna, sandwiches, etc.
We were totally pleased with Suzanne at Marry Me Wedding Rentals..She was first spotted in action setting up for another wedding. When we met with her in her showroom I knew we had made the right choice. She had every color imaginable to choose from. She was willing to do as much or as little as we needed without any pressure from her. She did the set up and take down which allowed us to enjoy the wedding. I highly recommend this business.
The night before my Daughters wedding she walked into the enue and said "Mom the arch is ugly"... Her maid of honer started flippng through a magazine and f\\ound a icture of a beautiful curtain wall with lights behind it, she showed the picture to my daughter and asked do you like it.... 30 minutes later Mark walkes in and starts measurring walls. around 8pm that night he delivered Chair covers and sashes and the next morning they came and did a wall of curtains for the Wedding room and the reception. Come to find uot the next day that he had no idea of how he was going to hang the curtain wall since the walls were plaster and the Hotel would not let him hang from the wall... He built something and made that room absolutely beautiful... If you know of anyone using the Grand Central Station Room at the Crown Plaza for their wedding pleae see Mark he is your man...... THANK YOU so much for making her day perfect....
My daughter was married yesterday @ Sanders Beach Community Center, a city owned site that sits on the water @ the foot of "I" St. in Pensacola. It is a beautiful facility that has a huge ballroom that faces the water. My daughter is a teacher and worked up until the wedding weekend. She had limited time, but she had definite vision of what she wanted. Suzanne worked with her colors (celedon green & chocolate). The tables were large (8' round), so she suggested a runner, then a sash on top of the runner. She then added mirrored chargers and standing folded napkins on the tables. The chairs had double bows on the chair covers. The food tables were done in a chocolate color, making for a beautiful contrast. Suzanne made my time-crunched daughter feel not only comfortable, but special. My daughter's best friend said the room looked like a "fairy tale". Almost every single person there (approx. 270) commented on how beautiful it was. And, if that's not enough her staff is amazing. If you want a beautiful event, look no further! We were very blessed to have her in our corner. Thanks Suzanne and all of you @ Marry Me Rentals!
