We had Merry Maids do a full cleaning and they did a good job - we were impressed enough to sign up for an annual cleaning service (every other week). However, once we signed the dotted line, the service deteriorated. After the second cleaning, we had quality control in to review the job. Quality control could not apologize enough about the state of our home. However, they did not offer a free cleaning to rectify the situation, as it was the holidays and they had no one available. We were assured that we would have a "good" cleaner from then on. We did not get a consistent cleaner, and after the third time in, we again had issues. My husband was painting the study (a room that had been "deep" cleaned twice). There were cobwebs on the walls and the top of the door frame had not been dusted. He had talked to the manager after the deep cleaning, as this door was not touched. We also mentioned it to quality control. This door was to be wiped down at EVERY cleaning.
We cancelled the service after our second cleaning issue. Despite our history with their service, they charged us for the annualized discounted rate ($282). I asked why we didn't get a credit for the earlier messed up cleaning, and was told a manager would be asked...I have YET to hear from a manager at the Davis Highway location; and it's been over two weeks since we canceled the service.
We are EXTREMELY disappointed in the work performed, and the level of customer service received. Sometimes, sorry isn't enough - when you're talking about more than $300 per month from cleaning. Truly expected more, dealing with a national company.
