You get what you pay for here. They are more interested in their office socializing then the patients. They rush you, take your money, and rush u out. The woman at the front desk with her window is a piece of work. She talks to you like you are interrupting her. If she hates dealing with people she needs to work in a back room somewhere. All of them need to take a step back and think about the patients and what we are experiencing. It is a big deal. I was having all of my teeth pulled and trusting them to replace them with dentures that looked nice. Your smile is such a big part of your everyday life. Every time you speak to someone face to face they notice what your teeth look like. They put a set of immediate dentures in my mouth that are not only yellow but look exactly like the fake Billy bob teeth you can buy for a joke. I was horrified and have not left the house since I got them. They r that bad. When I looked at them in the car I was shocked and went back in. I told the rude lady at the window that I needed to c the dentist again because they couldn't be left like they were. She said sooo snotty that I would just have to wear them like that and slammed her effing window. What kind of a place is this? I insisted and said I wasn't leaving til I saw the dentist. I watched as he came up into their area and they all talked and laughed about it, including the dentist!!! Here I am sitting there traumatized and they're laughing. They should not be in the medical field working with patients who are going through something that is a very big deal and scary when they have zero sense of compassion or empathy. They all should be made to where the ridiculous teeth they put in my mouth for just one week. Maybe then they would start seeing things through the patients eyes and remember what they are there for. Not socializing and rushing the patients through like cattle. I've never seen anything like it and I can't believe they're allowed to continue practicing this way.
the entire staff are the nicest people...... good bye AFFORDABLE DENTURES......HELLO MIDTOWN DENTAL !!!!!
My daughter had her extractions done here at Midtown Dental on Monday June 20, 2016. The level of service we recieved was surpass my expectations. After she received her extractions, the office did an follow up check up and I was well pleased with the service the dentist and office staff provided for my child. We were treated more like family than an patient. Very oriental, fast, professional, and accurate with fast appointments. thank you again MidTown Dental for great service.....5 STARS*****
My fear was the extractions but that went fine. The problem is dentures that do not fit at all. No adhesive works. At one of my numerous adjustments the man told me if I came in with adhesive on my dentures again they wouldn't see me. That's the only way to halfway keep them in. I then got turned down for adjustments because I needed a soft realign and if I paid the $130.00 to do that everything else was done to make them fit. The soft realign made them even worse. I can barely eat and they fall out when I talk! They tell me not to use adhesive. I'm so miserable, have sores in my mouth and now don't have Medicaid so they want $180.00 a plate to adjust them. Why would I pay more for such poor work and service? I complained to Humana And they say they need to be made right and I can go to another dentist who can look at them and send a request in with information on what's wrong and they can get an authorization to be paid to fix them. But they are the only Medicaid provider in Pensacola
After much trepidation and waiting for months, I finally found a dentist after moving here from Colorado. I was happy with my choice and Thanks to the staff for making me feel welcome. One less thing to worry about.
I've used Midtown Dental and had Dr. Filipczak as my dentist for over 5 years and can't believe anyone would write a negative review of her, any of her staff, or any of the work she does. When I first went to Dr Filipczak, I hadn't been to any dentist in more than 20 years due to VERY negative experiences with multiple other dentists and my teeth were in horrible shape. I'd been suffering with varying degrees of dental pain for years and had finally gotten to the point where I just couldn't chew anything. Luckily, I was able to get dental insurance through my job and I really just wanted to be able to smile again. If you've ever had teeth so bad that you could no longer smile, you know what I'm talking about. After her initial examination, Dr. Filipczak developed a detailed treatment plan and began an 18 month long journey toward giving me the ability to smile (and chew!) again. I needed a lot of work; there were a number of teeth that had rotted to the gum line because I'd had a bridge come off 15 years previous and never had it put back on, two teeth were missing crowns and had significant rot, at least 6 cavities that needed filling, a cracked molar,...I basically had the teeth of a homeless crack/meth addict without being a homeless crack/meth addict!Dr. Filipczak and her staff made each visit as pleasant and painless as it could possibly have been. At no time did I ever feel taken for granted or looked upon as a second thought. I can even thank Dr. Filipczak for providing me the "therapy" that has helped me overcome my fear of going to the dentist. So now I have bridges all the way around and crowns on my upper front teeth. While it wasn't inexpensive, all the dental work was very professionally done and I am able to chew my food again...what a blessing that is! Far and away for me, being able to smile again the greatest gift I received as a result of Dr. Filipczak's work.I can't speak to the price of the services I received. I know that dental work is NOT cheap and I don't think Dr. Filipczak's prices are out of line with other local dentists.I can speak to the 2 negative reviewers that I read. Whoever thMaria is, has never even been to see Dr. Filipczak yet decided they knew enough to give her a negative review. WTF??? That any person thinks they can review someone else based, not on any factual experience, but their own (obviously) highly self regarded opinion pretty much speaks for itself. That person probably knows everything...just ask them, they'll tell you! What a BOZO!!!Whoever the Louis person is, who thinks they need to write multiple negative reviews based on their experience. Well, I don't know the facts about their situation, but in their description, they seem to consider themselves expert on what dental treatment and/or procedures they should receive. I suspect they tried to insist that Dr. Filipczak perform a procedure she didn't think was appropriate, she didn't go along with it, and this is their way of trying to get even with her...as in, I'll show you. Make your own assessment of that person's review, but my own multiple experiences were NOTHING AT ALL LIKE THAT.Dr. Filipczak, her assistant Santoria, hygienist Mandy, and receptionist Delana, and a couple other assistants whose names escape me right now were ALL as professional and caring as any I've ever encountered in any business, dental, medical, or otherwise. I cannot give a stronger endorsement of Midtown Dental and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone seeking quality dental work, done in a professional manner, at a clean facility, and in a healthy environment.
I took my son there because the doctor was on my insurance plan and it was pretty good. Thay have digital xrays and the hygienist Mandy was really nice and smart. I will go there myself.
They worked me in an emergency. I was a new patient and had broken my denture. Amazing repair on the spot. Thanks so much for saving my holiday!
I was impressed by the digital technology because i read where you get 80 percent less radiation than with the traditional xrays. They suggested ways to help with sensitivity because my teeth are extremely sensitive. I would go there again too.
