I had very bad experience at Pembroke Gardens store. The store staff is ill informed and waste. They don't know what they are selling and mind it they will give all good excuses to sell the stuff. I was told that they have a new type of credit card which will behave more like a reward card and will give early access to me to store/online discounts. When I asked whether this will make a hard check on my credit, they replied no and it will be a soft check. I asked not one employee but 4 of them including their manager and eachone of them said it is soft check. But when the application processed, it was a hard check. This was an unnecessary hard check to my credit history as i was not in need of any credit card. They will tell all lies to sell any product. Very disappointed...
I bought a pair of pants 2 weeks ago. I put them on for the first time last Wednesday and I noticed the pant is defective/damage. I went to this store to exchange my pants or return them and the manager didn't accept the change because the tag was removed. He said it was my fault and he was not going to make the change. The manager was rude and didn't care about my frustration to have my new pants damaged. I received in this store the worse service ever. I have been a NY and Company customer for more than 10 years.
Okay so listen my baby girl is thick and there is no fitting room and she ain't no white skinny girl
It's unfortunate that this store has such bad customer service! Every time that I've been there, not once was I ever acknowledged, greeted, thanked for my business. Everybody who works there act like they don't wanna be there. I would make more purchases or even give it more of my time if the people who work there were pleasant. Improve customer service and your profit margin will go up!
Omg! I paid 16$ for the handbag because it fell down from the self! But came home and figured out that they broke it before! one of the closed botton was missing and that was reason why it could not close! You guys did make that mistake and I definitely not reccomend to anyone! I did not think I made it fall that bad!

BY FAR..., this has got to be the top notch store in every aspect, from open layout of front end of walk-in, to how much you are helped OVER THE PHONE, and FROM THE STORE MGR., himself, Mr. Jose when I called!
If I could give them zero stars I would, I had a similar experience with them, an employee allowed my mother and I in the big fitting room we had no bags. I was not trying on any clothing but they had no seats and I was giving her my opinion, the manager Jessica came back from lunch came to the back and literally started yelling at me as if I'm one of her employees any way a kept my calm because I'm thinking she doesn't kno that I did ask to go back there, she was so rude and uneducated that my mom got dressed and we left the store worst experience ever. Will never recommend and will never go back.
The store is large, clothes are trendy and priced nicely. But I stood in line 20 minutes!! Terrible!!!
August 8, 2013. This is a first time I write a review about any store. Steps at Pembroke Gardens have the worse and uneducated manager I have seen in my entire live. I was waiting next to the fitting room with my daughter and she came to me and told me to go back 10 feet because i was blocking the way. Not only that she told me i could not get close to the fitting room to see my daughter because I had a bag with me. The name of the person is Jessica, and she said to be the manager. I honestly don't understand how someone with such a low education and bad energy could be working as a manager. The reason I am writing this review is because if something like this get to happen in my business at least I would like to be informed. It is a shame that such a strong work that must be behind of this business get lost because of people like this!PD:(Kayla was a witness)
