Capriccio Ristorante

Had an amazing time at this Italian restaurant! Warm ambiance, incredible food, and impeccable service. From the perfectly cooked pasta to the heavenly tiramisu, every bite was a delight. Highly recommend for a fantastic Italian dining experience!

Wow! Capriccios Ristorante is truly a hidden gem. Before dinner we had drinks at the bar lounge, then we sat in the main room and enjoyed a delicious dinner accompanied by great service and live music. We recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an elegant night out to celebrate a special occasion.

We had been seated at a nice table in the lovely rustic dining room of CAPRICCIO'S, Sharp white tablecloths matching the white baby grand piano, sparkling glassware, the on-site owners and experienced & attentive wait staff makes Capriccio's my newest favorite place.



Their amazing appetizers are like a meal in themselves. You'll find the Flatbread has just the right touch of extra virgin olive oil drizzled over fresh arugula and prosciutto sprinkled with shaved parmesan. It's like being in Tuscany. The presentation of the fried calamari is as ingenious as it is delicious. Although I don't think it's on the menu as a regular item, the lobster ravioli is one of the best dishes I've enjoyed in any Italian restaurant. My favorite dish is the Suprema di Pollo alla Palmitana, chicken in a delicious white wine sauce with eggplant & mozzarella. Veal Capriccio, sautéed in cognac sauce is of course a bit heavier. It had just the right amount of mushrooms and didn't overpower either the sauce or the veal. When accompanied by the robust red wine recommended by our server it was quite a substantial dinner. Every one of the fish specials I have tried so far, the most recent being Blackened Grouper, has been consistently fresh, prepared perfectly as requested and served with a flourish!



On weekends there's usually live entertainment in the main dining room by that luxurious white baby grand piano. You might be serenaded with Italian songs sung by a real Italian Godfather or classical music by a young violin player. Even when the main dining room is full we never felt uncomfortable ordering an extra cup of espresso (or chocolate martini!) because it's that nice a place. Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of trying any of their desserts yet but the overall atmosphere is so wonderful I'm already looking forward to my next visit as I sit here and write about it.



In addition to the two Tuscan style main dining rooms, Capriccio's has a more casual dining area in the separate fabulous lounge area which leads into a very elegant dining room available for private parties. Again there may be live music on any given night in the lounge with complimentary appetizers. You won't find a big screen TV anywhere but you will be dazzled by the enormous chandelier hovering over the large circular black granite bar like a Mother ship. It is truly hypnotizing and I think it makes Capriccio's one of the most beautiful restaurants in Davie, Hollywood & Pembroke Pines.



Dinners range from $20 to $40 with full bar service and a very nice wine list. You will be pleased with the food, service and atmosphere whether you go with a client or your long lost friends. In fact, if you need to plan any holiday dinners or celebrations I would recommend that you definately consider Capriccio's and book early.
