Not very good or tasty....

Took my family to Bamboo Gardens for Dim Sum,wasn`t too pleased.
Service was slow, Dim Sum wasn`t very good, nor was the something simply as Won ton and Hot and Sour soup!
They bill themselves as a NY STYLE chinese restaurant, but they`re a very long way off!
Pass...

Overall
bad food and dont bother asking them to deliver

I read the last 2 reviews and said, "ok, let me give these guys a shot" I live in an apt complex in pembroke pines, that is somewhat complicated. I expected to give the delivery guy directions, I just didnt expect that he wouldnt understand a word I said. Of course not, he speaks some english, but doesnt understand when someone speaks english back to him. Well, living in pembroke pines, where there are so many hispanics, I'm sure he didnt bother finishing his english lessons because he can 'get by' on what he knows. I had to leave my apt to pick up the food from him, I might as well have gone to the restaurant and picked it up myself. To make things worse, THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE. BLAND. BASIC AND LUMPY SPAGHETTI TYPE NOODLES masquerading as lo mein. Move on to th next restaurant - this place is a joke.

Good chinese food, good service

I was reading the one and only review on this place and it was totally wrong, so I decided to write this review. I went here for my graduation dinner. I called ahead and reserved a table for 15, but only ended up having 10 guests. Even though I had only called one day in advance, when I arrived, they had the table set up and ready to go for 15 guests. Two waitresses served us and the food came out quick. My family weren't sure if the food was going to taste good so we ordered the special for a group of 6. The food was really tasty so we kept ordering more food and everytime we ordered, the food came out in 5-10 minutes. The service was great and the food was good, so I don't know why the other reviewer had such a bad experience. The staff were very polite and the bill was only $250.00 for the amount of food we ordered and that was with the 20% tip included. I would definitely go back again.

Pass me the MSG!

What makes a wonderful eatery go from Good to OH so awful? How can a chinese restaurant that once served the best Lobster in Black bean sauce in the nation have so little respect for its clientle today! Please don`t get me started on the dim sum, no longer is this made to order, they`ve changed that. The house special wonton soup is worthless, the fried rice lacks egg, and any semblance of what fried rice tastes like. Amazing, how things change so rapidly. I`d rather pay a higher price for good food than pay for tasteless crap. Bring back the MSG!!!!!!!!!
