So as I write this up, I am sitting in a jeep service center having to replace a part for my 2016 Jeep Compass I bought on the 6th of this month. I'm having to shell out 75 dollars WITH my warranty I got from my bank (thank god). I was waiting a month to post a review about them. I'm glad I did. My sales person was okay, a little pushy and I had taken my stuff from my car by myself which I thought wasn't very professional with the fact that she didn't ask me if I needed help but then came a little after probably because I was taking long. The finance manager Keith, was also just okay, he was nice at first but then I had called him about a bill of sale without the warranty (which he didn't mention was optional at first, but then I read down at the bottom that it was and asked him about it. He agreed it was but it felt he did so begrudgingly). Once I asked for the bill of sale without a warranty he said "oh so you don't want to protect your vehicle". I didn't appreciate that but he said he would fax it over to me (being that I live 2 hours away). Never faxed it. Called again, he was out of the office. Called once more and got J.D. Very nice manager, professional and was able to fax it albeit a little later in the day but that was fine. I was just glad he made it happen. Which is why I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1. I'm just wondering why a diagnostic wasn't run before I bought this vehicle. The sheet they gave me when they had checked the vehicle out was done in the beginning of July. So not very recent. The warranty they offered was for 2,041.00 and was for 1 year. The warranty I got from Redstone was for 8 years and 120,000 miles. Thank god I went with them. Without that warranty I'd be paying 300 dollars. NOT OKAY. Especially since I've had my car for only 12 DAYS. This will be my first and LAST Enterprise purchase and will probably go with Hertz rental cars if I ever need one. This left a very bad taste in my mouth.
They will do their best to bowl you over to make a quick, hard sale no matter what you say are your needs. Profit is a game without the consideration of fairness. Whether it is a monetary range, choice of vehicle, or time to think, to name a few issues: BUYER BE-AWARE!!! The smile is deceptive. It doesn't always come from the heart.
If you are accustom to spending money with those who believe in and conduct "good faith" business practices you may want to think twice before making a purchase here. Based on my experience, this business has LOW QULITY BUSINESS PRACTIES. No effort to communicate with consumer about concerns /no effort to recover consumer trust =DISSATIFIED COUSTOMERMy husband and I purchased a vehicle that was advertised on Huffman Auto's website. We had a trade-in vehicle that used towards the purchase. The trade-in vehicle had a remaining loan balance. After several weeks /almost 30 days of this recent trade-in not being paid off I gave the Brian at Hoffman Auto a courtesy call to inquire about the process and was given the proverbial excuses the check's in the mail and there must be some misunderstanding or delay in processing but that he would get on the matter and get it resolved. A few days later we left a message with Brian that all he needed to do was fax the tracking number of the "mailed" check to the lien holder or text us the information. We never heard back from Brian or anyone at Hoffman Auto. I'm not sure what business relation Hoffman and Auto Class has with one another but Auto Class was used draw up the sales contract and is the business name on my Bill of Sale. Because of that, I contacted Auto Class as well after almost 60 days of non-payment on the trade-in and spoke with Christian who again claimed he would get on the situation. Long story short I ended up passing the problem onto my attorney after which(surprise) the trade-in was paid off. Always follow your first mind. I knew I should have stopped at Carfax with my trade-in and sold my car. They buy cars all day long and you get the payment/paperwork the same day. Then I should have went to a more reputable car dealer who cares about their customer and their business reputation!!! Lesson learned!!
So very disappointed with the service we received from Three M Karts & Mowers in Pelham. They had our push mower for 5, yes FIVE weeks. It only needed a belt to operate the self propelled system, otherwise running great! We were never contacted with a diagnosis or estimate of repairs. After they had it for three weeks we decided it was time to call and check the status. They said that they had to order a belt and it shouldn't be much longer. Week 4, called and was told the belt was in and it would be ready on Monday or Wednesday at the latest. Week 5, called yesterday around 2:00 and was told it was on the table being worked on and would be ready that afternoon and they would call a soon as it was ready. Today we picked up the mower with absolutely no repairs done to it and the only explanation was that they been busy. Unfortunately, they have lost out on any future business from us.
I was extremely pleased with the process. I have had a great experience with their service department, they been honest with all my dealings. I had a transmission problem so I was told, at another Mazda dealership. I wanted a second opinion, because it was a lot of money. When I went to Med Center the service I think he was manager he rode with down an exit and back. He said yes something is going on. We got back he talked to one of his techs and he said could he spend an hour or so with it and I said yes sir. 15 minutes later he called and said it's got 120,587 on the on the odometer, have you ever had a transmission service and a throttle body service. I said no crossing my fingers that, that is what it was. And it was instead of a $4850.00 replacement. I paid$189.00 for service. I told my brother who was coming to pick me up. Long story short he ended up getting a great deal on a New Mazda and I left with plenty of money in my pocket. Because my brother bought a car the new car department paid for my service bill.
Nice experience. Not pushy at all. Answered all our questions. I like the fact that the price is on the vehicle and you don't have to play the negotiating game.
I was in the automobile business all my life.my Dad was in it when I was born.so I'm retired now.So basically I was in it 40 + years in Birmingham.The frist time in my 62 years I went car shopping.I found out quickly alot of car folks that i knew n did business with didn't want to mess with me..hu hu..I went to Legacy told them what i wanted n what i was going to pay less that a week they had my White Mercedes C240..TO SAY DA LESS I'M VERY PLEASED.N TELL EVERYONE THAT ASK ME....GO THERE......
The worst!!! Do NOT do business with this crooked dealership. They have so many negative reviews for a reason! The salesman are liars and extremely sleazy. Get up and leave if they tell you they are "looking" for the keys! Just sad!!
Expect to overpay if you shop here. You will be ripped off majorly; new price after all the fees for a used, basic model vehicle.
