Overall
Horrible Place!!

I had a horrible experience at Pearland Clinic!! I have never written a review before, but my frusturation has led me to it.

I bought 2 groupons for laser hair removal. They only have one type of laser that suctions the skin before it zaps. The technician, Sulvey, kept lasering areas that did not have any hair, and did very little laser where the hair was. As a result, I left there in a lot of pain and had redness and swelling in the area that was lasered. I put hydrocortisone cream when I got home, which helped with the redness and discomfort. Most of the redness went away in 48 hours, but one area was hurting the most, and two black circular burn marks appeared there the next day. My sister is a PA, and she looked at it and said it was definitely burn blisters.I have had to keep neosporin and bandaid on the burned area and the skin is starting to peel.

I called the next business day and spoke to Dr. Patel and explained what happened. He said he would talk to the tech, and then he hung up on me while I was still talking. The technician called back and tried to convince me that I had bruises from the suction and it was prefectly normal. I tried to tell her it was burn blisters, but she kept denying it and would not hear me out. How does she know what it is before even seeing it? I know its common for the area to feel like a sunburn after, but black burn marks is not ok. Even if it was bruising, that was never mentioned as a possibility before my treatment.

I have had laser hair removal already on almost my entire body. I got areas done at Amerejuve, Sona Medspa, and Metropolitan Laser, and had great experiences at all of them. This place only has one laser and technician, and they don't seem to know what they're doing or care about their customers!

I definitely did NOT want to go back there and have more damage done, and I already paid for 6 treatments and wanted my money back! I called Groupon and they were very nice. I told them what happened, they apologized and are giving me a full refund.I have learned my lesson, and will definitely do more research next time! Stay away from this negligent and rude clinic!
