Our dealings with Lifelink here in Florida have not been resolved. My brother was an organ tissue donar. It was his last wish.

When I contacted Lifelink I was told my brother was in the database for not being able approved for donating based on a phone call they said was made to our Mom.

What was strange is Lifelink said they called and spoke to our Mother but had my phone number in the database as the one they called. Mom and I neither one have any recollection of this so I got the phone bill from the very day they said they called us and it has all incoming and outgoing calls with no call from Lifelink. I told Lifelink this and they insisted they contacted my Mom through that number in the database.

When I told them of my phone bill evidence and that I would send them a copy they said it wasnt necessary. When I told them to present us with the phone bill they wouldnt comply. I have emailed the President of Lifelink but havent heard back.

I have also filed a complaint with AHCA.

Every aspect of donating my son's organs was a horrible experience. I WILL NEVER go through organ donation again. I can't begin the describe how awful experience of this organization. The "SALESWOMAN", left the company immediately after my son's organ harvest. Lifelink want was contacted by my family and never even an apology. In fact it's been 7 months and I receive no correspondence in 5 months-NOTHING regarding my son's organs. They treat the donor's like they don't matter, no appreciation what so ever for the organs they received. When I decided to donated my son's organ's, it was and is the biggest regret I live with. All due to the way I was treated during the process - JUST HORRIBLE
