        We are a family-owned animal hospital which offers a variety of services for your pets from pediatric vaccinations and examinations to geriatric medicine. We provide both emergency and scheduled surgeries, as well as hosting different surgeons in our facility for more complex surgeries. We have a digital radiology machine as well as an in house ultrasound machine. We provide hospitalized care as well as outpatient services. We also offer acupuncture services.

        Overall

        I began bringing my dog to patter paws in April 2015 my first couple visits went great and I really liked Dr.Proto however my last visit went absolutely horrible. I had to work so I left my boyfriend to bring my dog to see him. I SPECIFICALLY made clear to Dr.Proto and the receptionist EXACTLY what vaccinations we both felt my dog needed. So I was surprised when my boyfriend came home and told me she had multiple shots. I call up to find out what shots she was given because as far as I know the last time I spoke with him we clearly had planned on only giving her one. IN my opinion and many other reputable vets when it comes to vaccinations less is more meaning only give the animal what they need instead he told my boyfriend this vaccination was one my dog needed and she had to have it. So without my consent or knowledge he gave her a vaccination she did NOT need. He over vaccinates dogs for money. Not only that but when I attempted to discuss the issue with the receptionist she thought it was funny! Well I hope the extra $34 was worth a loyal customer who has paid hundreds! I will never bring my dog there again. I am strongly against dogs being over vaccinated just to put a couple extra dollars in the vets pocket. No thanks!
