In December 2016 my family members noticed a crack and a chip in our mother and father's granite marker. We also, noticed a freshly dug grave next to our parents grave site. We contacted the front office in December and the president of Oak Lawn Cemetery and informed them of this situation but all we got was the run around. Contacted the Maryland Office of Cemetery Oversight to no avail. Finally gave in and our family paid $175.00 to have the granite stone replaced. We feel Oak Lawn Cemetery should have held the parties who dug the grave next to our parents accountable for this damage. We feel we paid for someones negligence and no one stepped up to admit they caused the damage. Needless to say Oak Lawn Cemetery will no longer get any of my family's business.
The staff is very helpful and kind. The view of the city from the hills inside the cemetery are beautiful and the old statues are works of art worthy of being in a museum.
Two of my brothers are there and both of their birthdays are approaching and we can't even get in contact with anyone. This is pissing me off because i do have loved ones there that we would love to visit.
I been trying to find my fathers grave for years now can someone please help me find a number or whoever in charge of this place this
The mayor of Baltimore should be impeached because of the condition of this cemetery
My dad and to of his brother's are there they don't take care of the cemetery it has sink whole a couple of them my dad's plat is sinking can't get a hold of them makes me sooo mad and upset...
This cemetery is a disgrace, no type of caring of the grave site, thats all i have to say.
This is the worst cemetery in the State of Maryland. It has gone completely downhill! I'm still trying to locate the sites of both my great grandmother and grandfather - it's taken only 38 years! Why rate? They are worthy of 0 stars!!!!
Do not bury family at this cemetery,
