Happy Life's COVID response was Amazing! we adopted our dog about 3 months ago, they have rented out an office, so that their adopters and volunteers are not exposed to COVID. When going in, you take your temperature and it says "normal temperature", very high tech, then one of the volunteers will take you to your room, which they clean with an advanced fogger, before and after you leave. the Volunteer who helped us was amazing, super informational, humorous, kind and professional.
when we picked out our puppy, you go the front desk, which is sanitized. They go over what they have done. They spay/neuter, microchip, up to date on vaccine, free vet visit and 30 days of pet insurance. I've researched and if I did that on my own it would've been very expensive. But it's all included in the adoption fee which saved me and my family a fortune. They are very knowledgeable about everything! If you are looking for a puppy or kitty go to Happy Life!

The People at Happy Life Animal Rescue are AMAZING, I filled out an application, i had to put down 2 references. They emailed me telling me that i was approved within 2 hours. The ladies Jessica and Erin work nonstop to make sure that the potential adopters have quality care. When I arrived at the event at the new Petvalu in Patterson Ny, there were a couple of families waiting but a reasonable amount. I go and sign in, once we signed in, they allowed us to go to Dunkin Donuts for some coffee.

When time comes I am online waiting to see the puppies, the staff is super nice, Lorraine the Owner of Happy Life Animal Rescue is super nice, and especially her loving and supportive family, who come and volunteer at the events. I go in the back and the volunteers are extremely friendly and nice. The ladies Debbie and Hannah, help me select my pup

I then go to the table to go over paperwork. They are completely honest, the adoption was 425 and to me that's a bargain. The fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, microchip, a free bag of dog food, a pet id, a free dog training class and coupon books to stores like Petvalu and Petsmart. The 425 may seem like a lot but its not because these puppies also come from Puerto Rico, and to me that's amazing.

I took my pup to the vets office, and the doctor said that ,my puppy was extremely well taken care of, and that he hasn't seen any other rescue put as much care into their adoptions as Happy Life.

If your going to adopt a dog adopt from Happy Life, at Happy Life they really make sure that the puppy or kitten have a HAPPY LIFE.

My fiancé and I adopted a puppy from this shelter last month. We thought the fact that we had to attend an event at a tractor supply shop was a little weird but decided to look past it because the puppy seemed so perfect for our family. We drove two hours to get there after reserving a dog and putting down a deposit only to find that the dog we had reserved was sent home with another family earlier that day. They did hold us a puppy from the same litter so we took her home and love her all the same, but my initial concerns that they had let another family take the puppy WE put a deposit on were completely brushed off by staff. We were told both dogs were tested and good with cats and this is not the case at all. She has also very clearly never been taken outside before and is TERRIFIED of the outdoors. I’ve never seen anything like this before. The worst part? We took her to the vet to find that she had KENNEL COUGH AND WORMS when we took her home, even though the “rescue” told us that she’d seen their vet TWO DAYS before coming home with us and had a clean bill of health. We spent $425 on her and will now need to spend way beyond the typical amount of new puppy fees on training and vet costs. I love my dog and everything, but this place should be avoided AT ALL COSTS.
