8 of us had lunch there May 27th. All the food arrived room temperature. Hot or cold, it didn't matter. I took two bites out of my tuna burger and asked the waiter if it was suppose to be cold. He took it back to heat it up. However what he returned was not my food. I don't like tomatoes on my food, so I had only put lettuce on it. The sandwich that came back was someone else's half eaten food with tomato and ketchup and no lettuce on it. I discovered that after taking one bite. The waiter insisted it was my food but he did take it away and not charge me for it, but no other food was offered or brought so I was the only person at the table who had no lunch that day. For what was suppose to be a $9 tuna burger, I expect better service then that. Leaving a restaurant hungry after spending an hour there does not make me happy. Also, two of my co-workers who paid in cash did not get correct change back. The waiter must have assumed we were giving him a tip and short changed them.
I will never go back there and I recommend you don't have lunch there, but if you do, order something you don't mind eating cold, keep an eye on your food and count your change.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a southern contemporary vibe. The food is flavorful and vibrant with colors of the season. "Its like coming home with a twist" South mississippi food with a kiss of gourmet accuracy will please your pallet to no end. The selection of wine is superb for any connoisseur. By far the most exquisite bar on the coast. With beautiful custom wood work that wraps around the room, you will find yourself lost in amazment. The outside sitting area is great for those fall days while enjoying the park and fountain scenery. And last but not least the servers, bar tenders, kitchen staff and managers are willing to give you a dining experiance like none other. This restaurant is on the top of my list of you are in the pascagoula area. Im sure Ciscal and Ebert would give The preservation Grill two thumbs way up!
My company took us here when we were interviewing. I have to admit I was really disappointed. The sandwich I ordered was like if I had made it at home. When I go to restaurant, I would at least like the quality be a little better than if I made it at home. The service was ok. It def wouldn't be my first choice
