After an oil change on my wife's vehicle she was told she needed tires and struts. We told them to go ahead same day. 30 minutes to close it was ready I dropped her off when we got home she told me her ABS/Trac control light was on. Brought it back at open following day to be told her wheel speed sensor needed to be replaced $400 and these things happen with no responsibility for screwing it up.
Also the last few oil changes noted keeping an eye on the brakes.
Took it to the dealership to fix to find out back rotors were shot and needed to be replaced and front rotors needed to be turned not to mention brake pads all around were gone. Guess keeping an eye on means we haven't even looked at it.
Moral of the story take your vehicle somewhere like a dealership to get the job done right. I won't spend another dime here with either of our vehicles.
I just wanted to start off by saying thank you Ceasar Cordon, the Manager, for taking time after business hours and helping us by changing the flat tire on my Tahoe. We were stranded and Mr. Cordon drove by and offered to help us. He is a blessing in disguise. I definitely recommend this NTB to everyone.
Went to them for regular Trans flush. Said Pennzoil book said must upgrade to synthetic (more expensive). Took 2 1/2 Hrs (mainly because tech was on cell phone most of time). Next day trans started whining noise. Took it back, tech spent hour looking through Service Notices online, said was sure it just needed to be flushed again but needed to check with Pennzoil rep. Assured me safe to drive. Promised would call next day, did not. After I call Mgr. & complained, tech called said need to re-flush. By this time Trans was no engaging on higher gears. Next day NTB re-flushed, no call back. Next day I called back, no improvement. Then Mgr. said outside trans expert said should not have used synthetic. Mgr. said would re-flush with regular fluid. Still no improvement, Mgr, said will contact his insurance, gave him copy of previous trans service recpt. Promised would call next day with update, never did. Insurance finally call said needed to send inspector to look at trans, would call back, did not. After numerous calls, voice mails, and broken promises to call back. Claim denied, said driving with wrong fluid, three flushes in a row & driving after whine started (on Tech recommendation) did not affect trans. Will cost, $$$ to fix trans plus an extra week and a half of rental car waiting for NTB & Insurance to return calls.
