Everyone can excel

What a warm, welcoming and inclusive place. One of the few gymnastics academies that honors the original mission of the sport – that everyone can exceed his or her potential – an empowerment so lacking in our hypercompetitive sports culture, where coaches and parents so easily mistake rabid ambition for excellence. So radically different than those studios that recruit and reject mini-athletes solely on the basis of their body type at age 4 or 5. What you'll find here might strike you as old-fashioned: friendly, open, supportive, attentive, and yet consistently rigorous. A true gymnastics family.

Worse gym in pasadena

Terrible situation in this gym, the policy is yell, yell, yell. Equipment is dated and some is broken. Even with encouragement, owner refuses to update. Lighting is not optmal for type of sport, hygiene a major problem in this gym. Student coaches frequently used. High turnover of coaches. No real requirement to get on team other than ""being able to do the trick"". History of losing serious gymnasts. Team does poorly in competition.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible

Dirty, unsafe, old equipment, rude and unqualified staff! The owners method of coaching is to SCREAM from one end of the gym to the other at the children, to intimidate them, demean and demoralize them, and as if that were not bad enough, then she laughs at them.
