Up Stairs Salon

Went here for the first time today and had a great experience. My stylist Luis was very helpful and took time to listen to what I was after. The shampoo experience was amazing - I got a lovely head massage during the shampoo that was very well done. He was very helpful and talked about what we could do in the future with my hair - as this cut was a repair job from a previous bad cut. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back!

As all the other clients Marina is better then 5 stars. She is a star herself. Wow just try her hair washes. They are to die for. And her cuts are amazing. I love her as a friend also.
I truly love getting my hair done and if I had the time would go everyday just to get the hair washed. The only drawback is that she herself does not do Highlighting. She does though do a wonderful job at coloring. The salon is always neat and clean as is Marina. I love this place and just cannot say enough about it. Love you Marina

I am a perfectionist, and while some other professional services in my life have disappointed me (doctors, lawyers, manicurists, printers, etc.), I know I can always count on the consistently excellent work of my hairstylist! Whether coloring, or highlighting, or shaping a new haircut to fit me perfectly, Marina is my best professional resource. A real treasure!

It's tough to choose a beauty salon where I and also my youngsters can receive the very same handling from the hairstylists. Good thing I heard about Upstairs beauty salon. It's by scheduled appointment only regulation is absolutely what I favor in hair shops. She's one of the most experienced hair professional I've ever known. Marina and her team truly think about you. These people will definitely please you with their proficiency on hair tone and fashion. A drawback however is I can't get my hair done on a Monday when I severely have to have one since it's only available on Tuesdays to Saturdays. But I can nonetheless say that Upstairs Salon is really the best hair salon in Pasadena.

Marina Bluvand had personally attended to me. I didn't look for it because I was after all a non-celebrity customer. She not only gave me a haircut that fit my facial shapes and answered my longtime bad hair day problems but she heard my horror hair stories while growing up. It was genuinely an amazing experience, I've never felt like a celeb in my whole life the way I've experienced when I was there. If I can have my way, I'll pay a visit to Upstairs Salon everyday of my life, even just to obtain that motivating VIP treatment the beauty shop gives to its clienteles.

My older hairstylist had moved out of the town and I haven't quite chosen anyone still to replace her, well till just lately. I've hunted for some hair studio in Pasadena and came across Upstairs Salon. But, I didn't get my tresses done that day due to the fact that the hair salon only entertained people by scheduled visit. I called the parlor to set an appointment and had the chance to schedule one previous week or so. I didn't fixed any expectation as I didn't like to get unsatisfied. But had I put an expectation, the services I've received from Marina would have overruned what I've determined. Marina is much more than a professional when it comes to handling hair, I can easily say that she's totally an artist. She cuts and designs hair easily and her hands were light when they touched my fringe. The other hairdressers I've gone to before I've sought service from the previous one I had, had oftentimes complained that they had a hard time cutting my hair. My hair's actually really thick and the cuts are often set off once the stylists' are done cutting it. But Marina hardly said anything about my hair, save for some fantastic suggestions of course. Now I look really EXCEPTIONAL, my husband compliments me constantly pointing out that the cut made me seem younger. Regrettable the parlor's not easily accessible to the handicapped as it 's on the second floor and there's no escalator for going up and down. I have some handicapped close friends whom I know will undoubtedly like getting their hairs done by Marina too.
