It's your standard pricey museum cafe but the setting cannot be beat. Nice place to grab a glass of wine during your visit. Very often there will be live music being performed on the patio.

Far and away, my favorite iced vanilla latte from any coffee shop I've ever been to - and I love good coffee shops !
This little cafe is tucked into the first floor of a large office building. They have a wide menu of options for breakfast and lunch. I had appointments in the building and each time I made sure to stop in for something yummy! The veggie breakfast burrito is hands down my favorite breakfast burrito around. They don't upcharge for the large chunks of avocado and it's fresh and delicious every time. I only wish they were open on the weekends! The staff was friendly and helpful, the cafe had a few tables inside and more outside. Seating wasn't a problem in the morning when I was there. Looking forward to having an excuse to drive in their direction again soon!
Very small, but clean and comfortable cafe with *fantastic * food. I had the Hunka Hunka Fried Chicken Love meal. The chicken was moist and juicy, and the coating crunchy and just a touch spicy. The buttermilk biscuit that came with it was excellent. I overheard other people ordering extra biscuits because they're so good. My friend had the Pig Dip sandwich and loved it. I highly recommend this place if you're hungry, not a vegan or on a diet, and want someplace cozy and casual.
This is my absolute go to coffee spot when I'm in Pasadena! Incredible coffee roasters and amazing location. I could spend the day here. They're coffee is addicting!!
Great service, great people. Highly recommended. A part of El Portal restaurant. Ask for the Horchata frap!
The wait can be long, but the food is great. The breakfast bowl and the olive oil cake are awesome!
I am hesitant of giving them a 4 star review, only because I feel that their drinks are over priced. Expect to pay $5-6 per drink. I like to think of this of Pasadena bougie boba. However, if you buy boba and drinks here, you know you are getting fresh boba and drinks. The quality is good.
I find Copa Vida to be one of those places where a coffee novice can go to be educated about coffee. Frank and Sam are very knowledgeable and friendly, and their coffee tasting sessions are definitely worth your time. Plus, they have excellent lattes.
