This Doctors office is unfortunate. The lady at the front desk sorely lacks customer service skills. She's rude, unorganized and hostile. She refuses to make exceptions when circumstances call for flexibility and gives the air that the office is desperate for money. This office lacks the technology to take payment over the phone and insist that payments be made by check or money order even in this age of Paypal or other 3rd party payment applications that would be more convenient for the. They also have to out source all X-rays and Lab test because there is no equipment on site. If Dr. Peet has any interest in customer retention, this office needs to step into the times and fire the off-putting, offensive lady at the front desk. I wont be returning.

I recently went to Dr. Peet for the first time 5/2012 and I was dismayed and a bit perplexed at her attitudes. I felt like I was in a sparring match; she asked me to go for some tests and I declined, over and over. She claimed my blood pressure was high but she never retook it but relied on her assistant's recording. I realize this is a first impression but I'm not sure I want to rely on her advice.

I was recently referred to Dr. Peet by a friend. My experience was incredibly disappointing. Dr. Peet had no interest in my health concerns and expressed no interest in receiving copies of my previous health records (even though I had names & phone numbers of all previous doctors). Her bedside manner was nonexistent except for the moments where she lapsed into a very brusque manner. Her female exam was without any preparation or concern for comfort. Nine hours later, I was still hurting from her exam (for which her only recommendation was "Relax").



My friend is still waiting for blood results from 2 and a half weeks ago and has been told not to call back. That when they come in, she will be called. However, their own forms recommend that if you do not hear back, you should call them.



To improve, I recommend that Dr. Peet take a genuine interest in her patients. When patients tell you they are having problems, at least try to examine the affected area, don't just refer to a specialist. Discuss medication options for treatments, instead of simply prescribe with no answers to questions.



The other medical staff was absolutely wonderful. They were polite, kind, pleasant and caring. But I will not be returning to this doctor.
