I bought a car with them on Memorial Day and that process seemed to go well though I still think that I did not receive nearly the amount for my trade-in that I could have gotten on my own, but that's the price of convenience right? After the fact of buying the car is when things have gone downhill. I have out of state plates since I don't live in Maryland full time and so they took it upon themselves to register my car as new instead of transfer my old plates. When asked about this they said it is not their job to do that unless I tell them to. They are the professionals and I believe it is their job to give me the options that are available to me. I then asked to talk to someone higher up about the issue as my DMV said they should be able to handle the refund process. I have left multiple voicemails (with Eric) with no response and the gal in charge of plates and tags (Jennifer) said she removed my plates from the mail pile so they didn't get sent until this was sorted. Well they just showed up at my house yesterday and STILL no call back. You would think that a company you spend thousands of dollars at would have the decency to return your phone call. They also never told me WHERE to pay my bill until I went to the dealer in person to file some paperwork. It seems like they are happy to cut corners and as a new car buyer I may have been naive to think they would be forthcoming and help me by telling me my options and really explaining the process... I was wrong. If you are a first time car buyer I highly suggest going elsewhere with your business.

Terrible service my wife had a 2 pm appointment for an oil change it is now 5:05 pm and she was still waiting. She declined an up sale attempted for a front end alignment at 3:30 pm and they said as soon as they finished cleaning the vehicle she would be able to leave. She was hoping Bob Davidson was a different type of dealership. She now has to drive on a rainy beltway in rush hour traffic to get home. I will be visiting the dealership tomorrow to speak with the manager. Totally unacceptable she will never be back!
By far the worst chevy dealership I have ever gone to a lot of these reviews are fake made by employees if I could give them negative stars I would. If you have to drive a extra 30 mins to another dealership DO IT. This isn't my first issue here last year I got my oil changed here and they drained all the oil in my car and once I left my engine stalled and I had to get my car towed back to the dealership missing a day of work and I had to pay 200$ for towing and I was not reimbursed. On Friday, December 28th I called the service department at 8:00 asking if I got my car towed there would they be able to just diagnose the issue I was having with my car at least by the end of the day and I was told yes there was not a lot of cars there. Never heard anything back from the service departmentafter waiting up there for hours someone finally comes out and says the service person handling my car has left for the day and they will not be able to get to it until Monday. Monday comes and I take off work and I am calling the service department through out the day I'm told that my file has been opened and they will let me know what is going wrong with my car at some point that day. I Never hear anything after calling throughout the day talking to various service members and being told the will check on the car and let me know. Now the person who is handling my car finally calls me Tuesday telling me what's wrong at this point I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received and the lack of communication so I no longer wanted to get my car fixed here so I ask for a email of exactly what is wrong with the car because I want to go elsewhere at this point. Especially after the horrific experience I had with just a oil change last time. Then once I told them I wanted to get my car fixed they told me it was 315$ just for them to diagnosis the issue because it too them all day. YOU ARE A CHEVY DEALERSHIP it took you 2 days to figure out the codes on a Camaro.

I just had my car serviced here. My first impression will be my last. I guess they dont like consumers that question their pricing. The secratary Linda is Rude, Impatient, and Judgemental. Who wants to feel judged when you just want good service at a reasonable price. Linda has no place servicing the public. Royal motors is taking a big risk with her running their business. I turned down $500 worth of additional work because of her mouth. Nice job Linda!
This dealership is worth avoiding. Their sales tactics are dirty and underhanded. It worth going farther to deal with a better dealership. On the Edmunds website has a list of 'signs' of a bad dealership. From my experience, Heritage Honda, Parkville matches a number of characteristics on this list. #8 Using 'Ad Cars' as bait and switch. On our first visit to the dealership, the advertised car we were going to look at that was suddenly no longer available. #6 They try to 'switch' you from the car you want to another. Our salesperson MARIE SMALLS fits this category. When we told her what we wanted, she immediately took us for a test drive in the car that she wanted to sell us which was very far from our specifications. This happened more that once during our dealings with her. #4 Your salesperson demands 'follow me' or 'wait here'. We had them play this game with us several times. #2 Your salesperson suddenly disappears and another takes over. This happened immediately when we first got to the dealership and were unfortunately passed off to MARIE SMALLS. #1 Salesman are hanging around out front of the dealership salivating. Definitely.Besides being given the typical bad dealership runaround, we were also basically lied to by our salesperson, MARIE SMALLS. We were negotiating a price on a car and she implied that she would agree to our offer in order to get us to come out to the lot again. In the rain. In bumper to bumper traffic. When we were getting ready to close the deal, she started giving us a hard time about financing, even though, we already have a car loan through our bank. She immediately started trying to talk us into buying a different car through their financing. Eventually we asked to see the manager.At first she sent out, TONY GRANT. He acted like a real lowlife. He was rude toward us and then immediately disappeared. This is a really dirty, underhanded manipulation tactic worthy of only the worst dealerships.After a second request, MARIE SMALLS sent out who I can only assume was the real manager. This part could be a part of the Edmunds 'bad dealer' list. #7 You're talking with your laid-back salesman when a big scary guy suddenly comes in and sits down across from you. JIM ROLAND definitely fits this category. I'd be willing to bet that he is part of their intimidation tactics, but, I really want to call him out for being a really incompetent manager. Either JIM ROLAND is a really inept as a manager or he is a really sleazy manager. Sleazy for letting his employees get away with the sales tactics they tried to pull on us.BOTTOM LINE: Avoid doing business here at all costs.
Merchants was recommended to me by a relative, but not saying its every location but I am speaking of this one (Parkville). Anyone who owns a Dodge Magnum know these cars do not have dip sticks to check your transmission fluid. The mechanic said that the levels were fine and the color was orange like I should be. Thank God my ex husband worked on cars. He asked the mechanic how did he check the fluid with no dip stick? You need a special kind of dip stick to check the fluid. When the mechanic realized he was caught. I came clean and said that they didn't have the dip stick needed to check my transmission fluid WOW. WHY LIE? Consumer Beware., If they lie about something like that, what else would they lie about. Oh he also told me I need brake pads, rotors, 2 lug nuts, brake fluid, oil. etc. Total bill $600 +. Just got a oil change prior,,,,,,,,,DAAAAM Won't male that off of me.
I changed the oil few weeks back at Jerry Chevrolet and they did inspect my car and check out a sign in the inspection report indicating that there might be an issue that needs my attention in the future related to (engine, axles, and/or transmission). I bought this car from Jerry last year with 65K miles and paid 14K. The next day I drove my car after they changed the oil with $43 (I never paid this extra money in oil change!!), I figured out that Jerry employees totally removed the manufacturing sealing and hose that connects the radiator with the engine. The car heat was close to the maximum and the engine was so loud and I had to stop my car in the middle of the road. My family checked out the car and they found the hose was totally disconnected and fallen in the floor and the manufacturing sealing almost 12" stuck around the hose. That was so unethical from Jerry, they are the last and only person that touched my car. I called Jerry about this incident and all what they did is to tell me that I am (perceiving) things that do not happen and they invited me to come back to the shop and they repeated the same rude comments. That was even much ruder. My car survived their evil acts to their customers but I am still deeply saddened that I am treated this way probably because I am not a US citizen or from the Middle East. The only thing I can do is to inform the public about this aggressive experience from Jerry. BEWARE! You might be the next innocent person to experience it.
