Was verbally told purchased ex...

Was verbally told purchased extended warranty could be partially refunded if car sold before warranty time/mileage complete. It was in writing on the contract signed as it was explained to us, but dealership said that part of the verbage was not applicable to the type of warranty purchased and was for a different warranty that uses the same form. Employee who sold this to us, was no longer with company and they would not honor the vebal exaplanation of the warranty.



Wife had previously asked dealership why car did not seem to get posted gas mileage and if they had heard of any issues that would cause this for this year/make/model of car. Service department was rude and acted like she was not smart enough to make an estimate of gas mileage.



Unfortunately, lately it seems many business have been selling products services, then later saying that someone described/sold the product using false information (especially ones that get commisions or paid per job) and businesses not honoring it. Had similar issues with Direct TV bundling.



Business was very apologetic about warranty, and it becomes a he said/she said, but still feel like money was stolen from me by the previous employee to buff their wallet and employer should be responsible for their employees actions to some degree, especially when money is involved.



I hope others have had better dealings with what seems to be a friendly establishment (other than the 1 service guy).

I recently bought a brand new ...

I recently bought a brand new Kia Forte at this dealership. The sales people were very nice and extremely helpful to get me as much assistance buying this car as possible.

I could not have asked for more while buying my first brand new car!
