Loftis Endodontics - Michael Loftis DDS

I went to Dr. Loftis for a root canal and I'm so glad I did!! He was great, his staff was great!! This was my first root canal experience and it was a pleasant one. I heard horror stories so I didn't know what to expect?? It was painless!! I was so relaxed and comfortable I actually fell asleep. Lol!! I highly recommend Dr. Loftis

Outstanding doctor! He made sure that I was comfortable and asked me many times if I was in pain. Once I was numb the work was done quickly. He was honest about the fact that I might feel pain, but it was not that bad. The rotation of Advil and Tylenol worked well for me!

Please avoid this man! I can't believe I paid him to treat me like scum.If you're in the Charleston area and need a root canal, DO NOT use Dr Loftis. The dude is a jerk and he's sloppy anyway. He gave me problems about listening to my iPod while he was drilling and THEN.....he seriously told me...wait for it..."Your mouth is going to hurt severely for about 3 days. Just use a lot of advil and tylenol, I won't give you pain medicine because I mean, look at all those tattoos, it looks like you could suffer through it, right?" I just paid that dude three hundred dollars to be a total jerk who treated me like trash. And my face hurts badly already and it's not even stopped being numb yet. I guess I will have to "suffer through it" because advil gives me a stomachache and tylenol might as well be water for all the good it does. I'm so angry. He was yelling (yes, YELLING) at his assistant the whole time, too. What a chunk of waste this dude is. His bedside manner is atrocious. He started stabbing me with the needle with no warning or anything and his attitude was awful.
