I had heard mixed opinions about this outfit but I decided to take a chance. Employed D&R for repair of a heat pump. First crew spent about 40 minutes on it and said they had found the issue, but I needed to order a part. They didn't put the housing back together but I didn't think much of it because they would be coming back. The follow-up was from a different service tech who was there less than 10 minutes before informing me that they had misdiagnosed the problem. The repair he said I would need was well above what I could afford. He left and didn't bother to put the housing back together even though I made it clear I didn't have the money for more work - very unprofessional. I then called and told them that I didn't think I should get billed for two hrs of service when the second hour was unnecessary and nothing was really done (and was completely due to their own mistake). I was told that someone would call me to discuss it but I was never contacted. Now I am getting bills for two hrs of labor. I will not pay for the second hr and they can sue me for all I care - I don't have anything to take so the jokes on them. PROVIDER NOT RECOMMENDED.
