        Go somewhere else. I had sched...

        Go somewhere else. I had scheduled an appointment three weeks before this posting with the dealership thinking it would give them almost a month to get all the parts in. The service was for a recall on a Ford 500 for replacement of the gas tank. I assumed everything was a go after waiting three weeks. Guessed wrong. When the appointment was scheduled the service tech told me it would take approx. 1 1/2 hours to do the job. Wrong again. When I showed up the initial information was taken and the car was driven inside. Shortly, about ten minutes, the service guy comes out and states the tank will need to be replaced and they will need to order one. That's right, I went the heck off and informed the tech that I was scheduled for repairs, not to wait again for parts and making another appointment. One would think that if letters were sent out for gas tank replacement and an appointment was made for that purpose, someone would have picked up the phone and ordered the parts within the three week time frame. They staff sure had a good time messing with one of the staff trying to wait on customers in the service but unable to take the proper care of customers or PICK UP THE PHONE AND ORDER PARTS. Another wasted day, another trip and I'm sure the tank being ordered will fit something else.
