Amazing food and atmosphere. Service not so good. Potato kegs and burgers are amazing. Convenient location.
41. Taco Cabana
When this place first opened here in the early 80's, it had the potential to take over the fast mexican food market in this town. Great portions at a fair price (now, Chachos seems to be quickly catching up). Prices have gone up (as they should with time), however the service has gone downhil…

47. Urban Taco
The salsa and tacos here are muy delicioso! Drinks as well. So many options that you don't find often. My only complaint is that I wish their pricing would come down a little considering the portion size. If they had a closer location, that'd be even better!
I often used to eat or get food to go but tonight was a nightmare!!! I ordered the chalupas bean and cheese with hamburger mwat the bean .which you wiuld have thought would b the one ket factor turned out to b a minute factor in the the entree and when I took it back the waitress seem to b offen…
Food was good but not noteworthy or great. Steak was a little fatty and the beans were runny. Our waitress was ok but service was slow. The biggest complaint was the Owner of the Restaurant. We tried to redeem a Restaurant dot com gift certificate and we had it presented from the time we sat…
The previous 1- star review isn't for our restaurant - it is for a completely unrelated restaurant on the Riverwalk - we're a 5-10 minutes north of there in Broadway. We've tried to have it removed but no one at City Search responds... Richard Peacock, President
55. Picante Grill
I agree. Run, don't walk. The lunch menu is to die for and fast. I never pass up the chance to have lunch there. Sundays mean Picante Grill and family dinner after church. There is a new item, well two new items, on the menu. One is chocolate, need I say more? It's Mexican chocolate and g…

62. El Jalisco
A wide variety of food. My favorites include the flautas, and gorditas. Freshly fried tortilla chips and tasty salsa too! I am a regular here. (hint ask for the ""red sauce in the bottle"" as well, that's good to put on your food.)
We went to this restaurant the first time to order breakfast tacos at the drive thru window for my sister's family, it was very convenient. After my sister and her family ate the tacos, they were very pleased, and wanted to know where we got the tacos, they were very good. They have been regular…

if you are out with friends drinking and nothing eles is open then you won't mind the food and service
I went here for lunch on a weekday.I ordered the rancheros enchiladas from the lunch menu. The enchiladas, rice and refried beans were excellent. I also had a homemade corn tortilla on the side. It was great. They brought out chips and 3 types of salsa. The salsas were ok. Not bad but not great. The chips were average. They appeared to be store bought. The sweet tea was good. The lunch menu items were only $5.99 and this included tea. Great value. Customer service was very good.I will go back.
I came here for lunch on a weekday. Friendly staff. I had the flautas lunch plate w/ sweet tea. It was very good. Prices were reasonable. The salsa was VERY good.I will go back.
Average.I came here for lunch on a weekday with a group of seven. We heard there’s not a lot of seating room and it gets crowded during lunch. They were right. People were lined up outside waiting for a table. We arrived early and were able to get seated right away. The staff was very friendly and the service was good.I had the beef puffy taco lunch plate. The food and salsa were average. My friends really liked the flour tortillas. I had the corn tortillas. They were tough and tasted freezer burned. The prices were a little high considering that you can get equal or better food at other places around town and a lower price.I would go back but I’m not in a hurry.
I came here to pick up breakfast tacos to go. Their daily special on breakfast tacos is a good deal. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean, organized and looked nice. The beans in the taco were good. The salsa verde was good. I was looking forward to the homemade flour tortillas unfortunately they were rubbery. This is not good. For this reason I am giving them only 3 stars but feel I should probably drop to 2 stars.I will try again for lunch sometime and update my rating depending on the next experience. Good tortillas = 4 stars, bad tortillas again = 2 stars.
Average food.I came here for a retirement lunch with a group of about 35 people. We had the “Depot” room reserved. Tea was already on the table and the ice was almost completly melted by the time we arrived. Two bowls of salsa and chips were provided per each 9 person table. We had to request more. The chips and salsa were very good though.I had the beef fajitas. They were average. The flour tortillas were good. The staff was friendly but a little slow as there was only two people helping with the large group. We used the free shuttle service to pick up 15 of us from our office in downtown San Antonio and take us back. This was an EXCELLENT touch. Because of this I will give four stars instead of three.
Came here with a large group during lunch on a weekday. Services was fine. Food was really good. Prices were fine.I will go back.
I went to lunch here on a weekday with a group of 8. Everybody enjoyed their meals. I ordered three different tacos a la cart. I don’t remember the three flavors I got but they were all good. The service was good. The seating inside was limited and it was a little warm in there. Overall I liked it and I would go back.
This is legit burrito heaven and it may have a spunkie atmosphere honestly the website doesn't always work but I don't care about the website... I care about the food.
