Today I was served by a man with very poor hygiene. My friends and I, sat at the bar and watched some very disgusting and unsanitary things happening in the kitchen. Three examples: our server wiped his nose with a wash cloth and then cleaned a table off with the same one, instead of using the tea dispenser. A woman scooped tea out of a bucket with a mug (putting her hands in the tea to fish out the mug each time), and to top it off our server went outside to smoke and returned without washing his hands making our food.
I've gone to this place since the '80s. My Mom and my friend Duke swore by it. In recent times there's been a chubby dark-haired woman behind the counter who seems to take pleasure in making customers as miserable as possible with her rudeness. So I don't go in as much. A place is only as good as the people running it.
I've eaten at Bridgette's four times with a friend. While the service at times has been erratic, the food has always been excellent. The steaks are of good quality and nicely priced, the salads are excellent and the burgers are about the best I've ever had in my 50+ years.
Tremendous salad bar and buffet. Pizzas are great and menu is diverse. I've loved this place since I was a kid, and right now it's better than ever. When I take someone there the food wins them over. My late Mom's favorite restaurant.
Kid-friendly, but does serve alcohol. Live music on Thursdays! Get the wine & cheese dressing!
This is the waffle and pancake house in paragould this isn't the Waffle House.
