Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency. Emergency & Urgent Care: We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency. I just recently got a leopard gecko who was in shed when I picked him up and i realized when the shed finally came off that he had something going on with his eye 😢 I was very stressed bc I didnt want to wait to long to get him seen but I didn't have enough to cover the cost at all the vets I called. So I checked Groupon and found this place. While they don't specialize in reptiles they do have a doctor that will see them and he was amazing! The prices were already a little lower than most places I called but the Groupon was a life saver for me and my baby (and it was applied to his medicine to not just the exam).
They got us in same day and I was very happy with how gentle and patient he was my little guy! (Geckos are very flighty and don't like to feel held down) We have definitely found our new forever vet! It's only day 2 of doing the drops and he already seems more comfortable and the swelling has gone down a bit.
Also, when I looked at the receipt I noticed that in the itemized list it has 'tender love and care $0.00' which I thought was adorable! I highly recommend Cochise animal hospital for any animal!

Dr. Thomasson Loves all Animal...

Dr. Thomasson Loves all Animals, however his knowledge and compassion is most importantly felt by all my multiple generations of Golden Retrievers, Cimarron, Cisco & Cortez.... I've never had a better doctor for my pets.
