Animal Hospital On The Ridge

Can't say enough good things about this place. My cat had stopped eating for a few days and I was getting worried after reading up I decided to call around to the local vets from both in Paradise and down in Chico. First I explained that I was on a very fixed income and did not have a lot of money to spend and I asked about rates for the following list 1: Cost of an office visit. 2: Cost of a blood panel. 3: Cost of an X-Ray. After talking to all the vets explaining my problem most were helpful in telling me I needed to get my cat looked at as soon as possible all most all could get me in that day. But when it came down to cost there was a big difference They were by far the least expensive of the bunch for every item with the cost of a visit at $41 dollars where the next cheapest was $58. The cost of the blood panel and they did suggest we do a less than full to see if it warranted a more exhaustive one or not to save me money thankfully I did not need another it was $65 dollars the next cheapest was $104. And after a check up with me in the room they felt there was no reason for an ex-ray. They gave my little guy a urinalysis test which was $15 dollars and which found out what was wrong with him something had stressed him out and he had kidney problems assured me it was not serious gave me some medicine which was $11 dollars a good deal below the cost I was told others were charging. They asked me if I needed to apply for a interest free payment program that was available or not. The whole time the staff was warm and caring. The office was clean the house cat was adorable and the house dog gave me a good deal of attention. I was told to either call or come in if anything seemed wrong and they would check him out right away.



This is how it is supposed to be Fast on time appointments even on day of call good service by a caring and knowledgeable staff. From now on I will trust these people with all my pet needs and will recommend them to others needing a good fair and caring vet for their furry friends they also have a low cost spay and neuter clinic which is in short supply around here. Give them a call and check them out. If cost is a consideration for you when it comes to care of your pet you will not find anyone affordable on the ridge or in Chico.
