I hired Panche Tent and Events for my wedding in Panama City Beach Florida. I started out working with Clay months in advance, then was passed along to Elizabeth shortly before my wedding day. I was assured by Clay that she was the person who trained him and everything was going to go as planned, which made me feel more confident in the change. I met the delivery crew Friday before the wedding at the reception site to set up. Elizabeth was 45 minutes late and the delivery crew and my self had the tables and chairs arranged before her arrival. After her arrival she pulled the delivery guys to check out her car, told me she did not want to take the beach decorations with her due to her possibly having to switch cars. We quickly looked over both the reception and ceremony site before she said she had to hurry and pick up the flowers.
The rental items turned out to be exactly what I had wanted with the exception of two mismatched chaffing dishes that were unusable. The arbor was beautiful and the wooden padded white chair made the ceremony site complete. The tables, linens, and lanterns I requested for the reception was also beautiful and what I expected.
I paid the Essential Collection package for coordination and this is where the company fell short and disappointed me, my family, and my guest. The package states that there was to be at least two representatives from the company present for the ceremony and reception, only Elizabeth was present for the ceremony. After arriving to the reception site, Elizabeth immediately pulled me aside and informed me she was feeling ill and had to leave. She had pulled one of my wedding guest, that she had believed was a hired person and gave her an reception itinerary. My guest who had never attended a wedding before did not know what to do, Elizabeth left the site leaving me in an emotional panic. Not knowing what to do, I broke down, cried in restroom for close to half an hour before composing my self enough to announce to my guest my self that I would be having my first dance. At that point my family saw how distraught I was and stepped in to help coordinate the rest of events for me.
Not only was there no coordination for the reception, they never called my vendors. They had a list and number of all of my vendors and non of them received calls. It was luckily that I had taken it upon myself to call all of them the day before and just check in with them and make sure things were on track.
I had contacted Clay and Elizabeth about all the issues that occurred twice before receiving a response and the only apology I received was that she "did not want to infect my guest." Followed by an unauthorized charge to the credit card, which we had to call them to find out it was for an extra propane tank.
I would only suggest this company for rental items, as those and those alone are as describe. The delivery crew was also exceptional. I would never suggest any coordination package as you may pay for services never to be delivered, after they require you to sign an agreement saying you will not dispute credit charges.
