When I first ate a Golden Coral, it was good. But the last three I had lunch and dinner at were in three different states, the final being this one, the quality kept going down hill. I think this is the worst one. I had a small sample of each of these dishes: the bourbon chicken, another oriental dish (both were a joke) pork chop, fried fish, popcorn shrimp (another joke), fried chicken, fried okra (mediocre), black eyed peas (undercooked), cooked baby carrots (bland), sweet potato (overcooked), roll (good), pumpkin pie (horrible), vanilla ice cream (okay), rice crispy treat (stale) with chocolate sauce, canteloupe (bland), fresh pineapple (good). All of the food with the exception of the ice cream, the chocolate sauce, the chicken, fish and roll, tasted bland and moldy. Hours after the meal, I had that horrible taste in my mouth of cheap, smelly, moldy food. The staff were friendly and the servers came out about three or four times to fill up my friend's drink. He said the baked fish was very good. He agreed that most of the food was bland. The place was crowded, the tables were too close together, the food islands were too close together. I was going to say that the price was reasonable, but the food was so horrible, I feel like I was robbed.
Very good, fresh seafood, oysters, clams, mussels, crablegs, shrimp, chinese food, salads, deserts, sushi. Very good. No Ambience and children running around. But place just opened, so give them a try. Price on weekends is around $15.95. About $4.00 more than chow time (but food buffet is similar). I am a local on beach so it's not far for me to drive. They will be busy I know during spring break due to their location close to Walmart and Wonder Works on Front Beach Road. Maybe if I can find a coupon, I will go again tonight. Alan Jackson Concert at Pier Park tonight and dont want to drive that far out so this place is located perfect.
I totally disagree with the following reviewer. My husband and I went to eat a light dinner on August 29. We didn't know until we started eating that the food was dried out and tough. When we looked at all of the pans , it looked like everything sat there and dried out. The rice was undercooked, and it was pathetic to see 5 little shrimp sitting in a pan of dried out sauce. The egg drop soups was good, but that's about it. Even the hibachi was tasteless, but at least it wasn't dried out. I know they were probably getting ready for evening service, but we paid for good food, and we definitely didn't get it. The waitress stayed on the phone more than she took care of her customers. Another restaurant destined to hit the dust!!! Even my husband said this was the worst Chinese buffet he has ever been to!!
I love their habachi, sushi, ershey icecream! buffet was awsome,nd prices are very reasonable! The new management w. nice service nd ppl there ♡! my new place to go to :)
Closed for remodelling??? perhaps new owners again?
This is the best buffet in the city that will always give you good service
Awesome I really enjoy going there to eat. Large selection, hot food hot and looks good not like it has set there for hours. Would really reccommend them to anyone and everyone.
