This is beyond the worst trip ever to a Margaritaville! After waiting almost 2 hours (which was expected) several groups that checked in after us had been seated... after talking to the groups none of them did the call ahead feature... the host couldn’t give an explanation as to what was going on. Upon being seated the girl explained that it is on ongoing problem and management won’t do anything about it. Hopefully management can get this corrected in the future
I can’t understand how this restaurant gets 4 stars. We looked at the menu online and it looked fine...but when we got there...it was a total letdown. If you’re into 1980s lodge decor and food, then perhaps. I honestly wanted to turn around before we were seated. The ambiance was dingy and old and the place smelled musty. If you could get past the ambiance you can’t get past the food....The food—the salad was skimpy and limp—like seriously I had lettuce stick to my plate it was so limp. My salmon was undercooked and the shrimp on top was so unappetizing. It tasted bad. My husband got the Greek salad with the same shrimp that was on my salmon and he felt nauseous after eating a couple. My kids ordered the crab cakes. My son who LOVES crab took one bite and asked if he had to eat them, they made his tummy hurt. Luckily my mom and MIL said their food was ok. We were there to celebrate an anniversary and we’re doing a do-over tonight because the experience was so bad. On top of that, the menu said an automatic gratuity is added to parties of 8 or more, we were 7 and they added the 18% gratuity. Honestly we didn’t even argue it...we just wanted to get outta there. I would NOT recommend this place....one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in a LONG time.
Awesome service, great food!
I've been bragging and recommending this place for 8+ years. It used to be a "best kept secret" but the food and the word has gotten out. The owners are great and when you talk to them you can tell they take pride in their food, always stopping by tables asking how things are going with service and making sure food is up to par. Great place, great atmosphere. LOOK FOR THE PINK PIG.... I recommend going early. 5*'s!
What a joke , after almost 3 hour wait , finally got seated and was told by actually nice waitress, that there would not be serving baked oysters! Only reason why we went ! Please please avoid at all cost ! Places like this run up your bill and could care less about the customer! No manager in site ! Doesn't even deserve 1 star !!
I paid 60$ for fake tuna dip out of a can I ordered "grouper" that looked like a chicken cooked to a tar it didn't even taste like grouper I know my seafood I'm from Louisiana I don't know who these people think they are fooling but for what I spent that had to been the worst seafood to touch my mouth in all honesty I had a nice server and our food took roughly 1 hour and ten min. If this place was my last resort of rather starve
Worst dining experience we've ever had! From the messed up seating arrangements to taking forever to get our food and the appetizers came after the meal and the food was barely warm. No apologies and nothing taken off of our bill by them...horrible!!!!!!!
Enjoyed the food and the outdoor patio atmosphere. A new waiter had a little trouble with our orders. I'd go back again though.
first off we asked for the easiest check separation all drinks and desserts on one all food on the other. I've been a waitress on a busy night that's why we ordered the dessert first that way it wouldn't be long when we were ready to go. before I could completely get out my sentence she would take off and disappear for 20 minutes at a time. we were there for 3 hours!
I ate here with my family and the only thing good was the entertainment! I had hair on my plate. My sisters food was undercooked. My brothers steak was cooked wrong. Then they didn't believe us that there was a hair and I had to show them and it was obviously not mine! I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!
