Soooo done with this pharmacy. Long long list of problems but I will just focus on the most recent. I live 45 minutes away so it's an hour and a half round trip. Arrive to be told, sorry, we will have to order your gel. It should be here tomorrow. Tomorrow arrives, another hour and a half drive, nope....check back tomorrow. Oh, they finally get it in 6 days later but they can only let me half 1/5 of what they have always filled because 'other customers need it, too'. Now, wouldn't you think they would just order enough? No, they say it's their policy now to save money? So after already having driven 4 trips at an hour and a half each trip down and back, I now have to come back AGAIN tomorrow to get the remainder... They bill my insurance 2500.00 each month for this which comes to $30,000 a year. I'm only in my 40's so I easily should have another 20 years left and I will have to use this gel for the rest of my life. 20 years at$30,000 a month is $600,000. This is how much their incompetence is going to cost the company when I switch to another pharmacy this week after I get my last one from them. Good job Rite Aid, keep up this kind of good luck and you'll follow K-mart!
Worst customer service ever waited over 45 min at the drive window and when I received help I got major attitude. Everyone seems so confused in there. Giving them one star is a compliment save yourself the hassle and go to Owens across the street.
Kay C. I'm very pleased with the pharmacy in Palo Cedro. We live in Shingletown, a 45 minute drive, so we do some of our prescription work on the phone. Everyone is friendly and helpful. As with most medical facilities, it's sometimes helpful to call a few times to make sure all is the way you thought it was. :-) But this isn't limited to the pharmacy.
I'm so tired of the same problems with this pharmacy! They are rude and don't bother leaving a message for a prescription cause they will just tell your patients that they don't have it instead of checking!!
Very happy with my recent visit. Everyone was nice and helpful. Glad to have a major drug store close to home!
I was very sad to see both of the local pharmacies in Palo Cedro were taken over by Rite Aid. But I thought I would go ahead and try them since they apparently had all of my information on file from Foothill. I dropped off my prescription on a Monday and returned Friday to learn they had not yet filled my prescription. After waiting a good half hour they told me they were out of the medication. The worst part was they did not respect my privacy and loudly kept saying what the prescription was. I asked for my hard copy back so I could take it to another pharmacy to be filled. They couldn't find it! After waiting over an hour they finally found it and told me they actually did have the medication in stock and would fill it.. I let them go ahead and fill it but I will never go back. The service was unacceptable and I'm not a picky person. I never was once apologized to or smiled at. They don't belong in the sweet town of Palo Cedro.
